Actually I think Perodua sales in Malaysia is NOT affected by this because to be honest, B40 has no other choices. Sad but true. Daihatsu, the Japanese automaker owned by Toyota, has halted domestic production after admitting it forged the results of safety tests for its vehicles for more than 30 years.
The brand, best known for manufacturing small passenger cars, has stopped output at all four of its Japanese factories as of Tuesday, including one at its headquarters in Osaka, a spokesperson told CNN. https://edition.cnn.com/2023/12/27/business...-hnk/index.html

>what about sales >what about numbers
honestly i dont give a fuck about your narrative, i bought ativa at the sake of the car's reliability and average price for compact suv compared to other brands for my budget. I have no slightest damn given to the perodua brand itself.
