Does Singapore Immigration need to check the road tax sticker or can they accept the digital road tax?

As Singapore doesn’t share your Malaysia road tax system

just in case, just print out roadtax and keep in your car

Printing I can do.
If they can accept the A4 printed copy that's easy.

I am just not sure if they need to original sticker issued by JPJ.

Bring along your road tax payment receipt as supplementary proof

dont need immigration don even check the physical road tax, all the info will be contained inside the autopass card so, u just need to update your road tax and insurance info to LTA.

Without updating valid road tax + insurance, u will be asked to uturn at immigration checkpoint.

i just entered for house moving last month and i didnt display the digital road tax in my car

No need physical road tax. You just need to validate by submitting your digital road tax via the LTA Autopass portal.

autopass is more important than anything.

u need that card to enter mall parking, even hdb parking.

You face any issue with certain barrier system using Autopass? For my case, even cash card dun work. Ended up holding the Q.

u need to press the card full flat against the reader, means the card fully pressed against the reader, else it wont work

Make sure the doc you submitted is the "certificate of insurance" and NOT the schedule of insurance

that system very weird 1, at first when ur car go in it will check for IU first, then once it says no IU detected and then only the place where u tap for autopass card will light up for tapping.

the first few time i went in i keep tapping that area and wonder why cannot...

You should get an email once they approved your vehicle and autopass (maybe a couple of working days)….read the email for further instructions….

From what I know, this problem is becos the system is done by different operator. One MSCP just across the junction works smoothly but the one within my compound refused to acknowledge both Autopass & Cashcard.

I've tried it almost every year but same sh!t happens. Even went to the extreme of having IU installed but problem is I dun keep the car for too long before next upgrade thus transferring the device is a pain, need to head back Vicom.
