Stop complaining and it's a good initiative. Of course it will be delayed in the process but at least its progressing. Otherwise, you propose a better solution to smoothen the transition.

It is not about the transition issue.
You should know the reason why this is implemented.

Also, this thread is not about complaining. It is a discussion topic "Have you prepared for it?"

Surely going to give LHDN the big data for their data analytics.
We just have to wait for more information.
Overall a step in the right direction.

for now, only large corporation kena. they will go live 2024. But... big companies will prefer doing business with small companies who are already in the e-invoice ecosystem compared to those who are not ready similar like GST. These big companies will presure smaller entities to comply for their own benefits.

as long this grey income is not spent, could keep under the radar else the system will pick up when purchase > income.

Like this...

Then indirectly..
Many small companies also would follow up...

Don't want to lose client businesses...

In the end.. achieve the government targets somehow 😉

taxpayers sure will go through e-invoicing because one is buyer, another one is seller.

For non-tax payer, then use "side" system.. haha

Govt target is GST. EInvoice is the mechanism of Gst in the future. They learn from mistake last time.

The problem is not the initiative 🤦‍♀️ but the guidelines and implementation policies from the govt which will flip flop from time to time LVG is a good example because only 1 month notice for the online sellers to prepared

They can’t even provide the list of authorised and permitted solutions providers so do you think they are ready themselves

Simple 🤦‍♀️ any invoice which is electronic is the income derived from

That is why they are pushing digital economy 🤦‍♀️ because without digital economy they can’t even implement properly with GST especially tax refunds which the govt still owes the taxpayers till now

EInvoice has to be in place but the focus has to be in SME 🤦‍♀️ because of lack of skilled manpower and solutions experts in this field as even accountants need to be trained as well because mostly they are still old skool

Just a guess,
Perhaps the ticket itself is a merchandise good not a receipt.

Airline and Money changer is not that simple to launder money huge amounts these days 🤦‍♀️ as it strictly regulated by the authorities

The real underground economy is the one who launders money locally via proxies and those who evade taxes by collecting by actual cash or EWallet
