So I was a victim of a hit and run accident yesterday. The damage was not that serious but reading the comments from all over malaysia internet, it seems that I would stand to lose my 55% NCD. But I am curious to know what would be the approximate cost to repair my car? See the photo below? My 55% NCD about RM550. My friend told me this would cost only around RM150. What do you guys think?

Why not just continue on your existing thread? I'm no expert in this, but even if I give it RM500 tops to fix the dent, no way is it worth to claim insurance and lose your 55% NCD

because u open two thread to discuss same issue. I suggest you to claim ur ncd. don't bother fixing it yourself.

Last time I repaired a wira 1.6xli fender, it cost me RM500 inclusive paint. That was like 2001 price..![]() ![]() Paint is the most expensive one . |

Have to assess first. This type of damage can become very frustrating because can cause water leaking into the boot if repair not done properly. Another point, RM550 NCD is for first year only no? Need to calculate NCD 2nd-4th yr opportunity cost too. |

QUOTE(AbbyCom @ Dec 24 2023, 05:06 PM) RM150 for knocking and respray? Where to find? I don't intend to respray. I just want to ketuk. I don't mind the scratches honestly. if only the boot and no paint damage, can use paintless dent repair (PDR)
after that just polish back the scratches |

Car got warranty still? If no more and going outside to fix, maybe better to just ownself pay if its like 200-300.
