QUOTE(Patent @ Dec 18 2023, 07:31 PM) is this even coming to Malaysia? splitting issue, mostly comes from 2 eventswaiting for mt07 and xsr900 also never come i think latest mt09 v3 got frame issue where some bike has its frame just split into two recently also got recall for mt09 and tracer 9 other than overpriced (in malaysia) I think they do make solid bikes - accident - slider kene rembat (slider attaches to the engine mounting screw and the engine itself lends to its structural integrity) so no screw, wheelie, slam wheel, piaaakkkkk so far malaysia afaik, both events pernah kene... slider kes, not sure if kene rembat or came off on its own recall, to do with tuning, and i guess the o2 sensor connector. its not properly weatherproofed, so when it rains, theres a chance water gets in and suddenly u cannot start the bike till it dries out theres actually a 3rd issue. its god dem ugly. with the rear fender, its ugliness is further pronounced. QUOTE(Patent @ Dec 19 2023, 02:50 PM) aiyoh for the look I think its an acquired taste to be very honest, the look has grown on me. the theme is naked, and it really suits.I think v3 looks fine but I'm more offended on the v4 design and yes, i lagi x suka the v4 design. 2v cantik, its the only model i would call good looking. QUOTE(elimi8z @ Dec 20 2023, 12:26 AM) nah not that bad.... i think the built on the more expensive bikes are 'better-ish' things like the switch gear all feel nicer, but same can be said about almost every other manufacturer out there. u basically get what u pay for**that said, not sure how it compares to the more modern chinese bikes... i have seen the clx700 and honestly it was a really appealing package. built seemd pretty good for the pricepoint This post has been edited by lsm1991: Dec 21 2023, 03:07 PM |

cfmoto can consider exception for china brand stereotype.. the switchgear and cover set fitting on the 800nk and 800mt are pretty good. even qjmotor srk600 isnt that bad tbh, but you can definitely feel the 'china' lowpro liked this post

Bought a 2nd hand MT09 V3 2022 for 43k. Damn worth it - great engine, tyres are sticky and super light at 189kg. Teaded my clx 700 for it

QUOTE(Patent @ Jan 18 2024, 05:52 PM) so happens that, the sliders typically make use of the engine mounting bolt locations to mount the sliders (fairly common, nothing too unusual) so once the sliders get stolen, theres nothing holding the engine in from the front (which i believe takes the most stress when u come off a wheelie)the engine is an integral part of the chassis, take one look at the structure and i think you can understand why once its nolonger bolted on peoperly, its bound to fail. Its actually a common design these days allows manufacturers to produce lighter frames. |
