I am still waiting for my Rize from HLJ too, via SAL.

Hmm, i noticed that it takes them about 15-16 days to arrive.

Didn't know that there is an alternative version for this figure. Damn.
Is there any price difference between the two ?

Makes me feel like hunting for a 1/6 or 1/8 figure of Rider now.

And some energy-saving white lightbulbs. Electricity is now expensive as well but more rather i got them for after seeing how to setup a mini studio for taking photographs. All i need now is to get a better camera.

Figma Saber still missing. I don't recall reading or hearing about any news about sunken ships.

I initially thought you're talking about those useless parcels by the online stores.

Hmm, i dunno what to do with them. I keep them, for now, especially for Nendoroids and Figmas where i have additional kits inside them.
What i do is, i keep those figure boxes sealed inside those useless parcels. Try to fit in as many as possible. Then i don't have to clean my figures nor their boxes.

I wanted to disassemble them and make them flat for easier storage but the plastic retainer inside it, i dunno what to do with that. If i am going to keep the box, then i would want the retainer, else i would dump the box AND the retainer as well.

Mine arrived today. That makes it 11 days for me, Play-Asia's free shipping. This is the quickest for me from Play-Asia. Usually 15 days or so.


I don't have a uber pro camera, this is the best which i can do.

As far as i know, i didn't receive any card to notify failure of delivery. Lets say, if the card was sent but someone threw it away, is there anyway to check ?
Also, if a card was sent, how long will they hold my item before tossing it to somewhere ?

Went and picked up my preorders from XL-Shop.





It was quite a regrettable experience, for this time.
Why ? HobbySearch is having sales for FREEing Nagato Yuki and i cannot cancel my pre-order with XL-Shop.

Price @ XL-Shop : RM100 deposit with full price being RM398.
Price @ HobbySearch : Sales bargain price exclusive of shipment cost is RM238 (7867 yen). Since the box is extremely huge, being that it is a 1/4 scale and the figure is standing STRAIGHT up, the figure itself is 44cm tall, inclusive of the base, therefore the box is about half a metre long. And being 1/4, it ain't lightweight. So say, 3000yen for shipping is something which i assumed to be reasonably, since HS only has EMS service, 10867 yen equals to roughly RM330. If i were to fore-go my RM100 deposit (being a sunk cost), result is that i still lose since RM330+RM100. Extremely frustrating.

Oh well, life sucks, sometimes. But then again, with HS, i am subjecting myself to Pos Malaysia's service, which often time reveals to be a bad outcome than a nice and proper delivery. I get to pick the better looking box at XL-Shop (more like it is perfect condition) despite seeing it having someone else's name on it, since i was early.

Still missing quite a few figures before becoming my ideal Haruhi daikazoku collection. Well, that means more future purchases for me.

Mei Feng and Rize is insanely difficult for me as well.
Definitely not for the weak-hearted, imo.

All my FREEings are from XL-Shop.

Only Nagato was on bargain sales. The rest are around the same price. Both Tsuruya and Nagato were RM398 each. Without pre-order price, XL-Shop sells them for RM430.

FREEing Haruhi and Mikuru were cheaper though, about RM368 each.

Pos Malaysia ****s up small parcels, i dare not rely on them with a package of such a scale, provided that i have the choice.

True. Rize was slightly easier because of the "torn" side. Mei Feng was the nightmare.
