Yah.. . but it is mixed with a 4000K one for the secondary light. Might need to get another one to replace it later.

Im back from hell...... after stripping uncasting off Mei feng for the 1st time and putting the damaged clothes then revert back to original (which I think is the best afterall)

Man, this sucks. My Shuraki 5 Rize PVC's left leg peg hole broke D:

No idea how it happened, I've been having it on display in my enclosed shelf ever since I received it. Now the whole weight of the figure is focused on the right leg, and I can't seem to remove the broken plastic base peg out from the left foot hole.

Can u post the pic of said parts?

Camera broke, sent for repairs orz. Not to mention I've managed to force out the peg, and superglue it back to the hole.



But it's this part as seen circled. Her base isn't flat (or made of hard plastic, for that matter), it's possible that that's putting extra stress on that peg and has caused the plastic to fatigue and break off. Anyone here have the other Shuraki figures care to tell if the base of the other figures are made of the same soft plastic as Rize's?

Not really, must have overlooked using it...

But i intended to shoot Yuna's pix in a slightly blurry state so that she won't look too "toy-ish"... How was the pix, btw?

if you don't want to make it look toy-ish then maybe you should shoot it outside at a natural places like gardens or something,

you can make the face look blurry also if you use macro and focus on something in front of the face... for example the staff,

then it will look more 'realistic' and have a better view of the whole scene....

Well, i think the material used for plastic pegs are roughly the same. Most probably the pegs cant withstand the figure weight. My Yamato's 1/7 Sonsaku Hakufu (the high kick pose one) pegs also broke, due to to the uneven weight distribution of the figure (mine was only a single peg)

lol reminds me of the AF hobby boss Chobit 1/6 figure which the leg patah becoz of the peg!

same thing happen to mine, it's all because of her skirt, it's just too heavy, and the plastic for Rize base is different than the rest though, kinda softer

At least I could feel at ease now, knowing that it doesn't happen only to mine. Hopefully Tamiya's plastic cement (don't have a superglue around) will make it stay there forever, after leaving to dry for a whole day or two.

omg..... btw valho, anything happen to your mei feng so far?

since she is standing with just one leg I scared she might lean after some time...

most probably a common problem for Rize,

Mei Feng is much more stable, and her rod is metal if i remember correctly and goes in deeper as well.
Problem with Rize is her skirt is very heavy, probably safer to display her in battle damage haha

If i'm not mistaken, recent standing-on-one-leg-figure's leg are actually made of ABS plastic (a type of hard plastic), so there's no risk of leaning, but may have risk of peg breaking (especially if the peg is not metal)

thanks for the reinsurance.... now I feel more safe abit, and yeah Mei Feng has a very long metal rod and it penetrates deep into the base.... so I guess she won't fall or lean anytime soon...

btw anyone collects the Blade Queen Series here?
