I get stuck at the part to remove the upper dress.... so scared might tear it off into 2

hmm actually i kinda forgot how the dress is, have to go home see my mei feng only know lol. but I think the top part is quite hard to pull off, you need to apply some force to get it off.

my force is like hulk type... 2 hands pull , sure will tear off, do advice me how to pull it out later

and I notice that the materials used in making shuraki is softer than normal pvc's , like able to bend or some sort...

I think the price will be more than that if get from HS, shipping probably around 3k yen or more, this is based on Rize shipping since her box also quite big, but she'll just a 1/8 and Hayate is 1/7. So I think RM365 is a decent price, probably only PA can go lower than that

3k yen . Are you serious? EMS is that expensive? The last time I got my Reinforce Zwei from HS, it didn't even reach 1k yen for the shipping.

Btw, is it better to overexpose than to underexpose figures while shooting them or is the converse better?

It doesn't matter what they throw in, it's the box size itself and Hayate box definitely won't be small

it's better to underexpose since if you overexpose u risk burning out some detail, underexpose a bit you still can bring back those detail with photoshop.

haha looks like my estimate wasn't that far off . I know Hayate definitely won't be cheaper than my Cloud + hardy DAYTONA figure

Went and picked up my preorders from XL-Shop.





It was quite a regrettable experience, for this time.
Why ? HobbySearch is having sales for FREEing Nagato Yuki and i cannot cancel my pre-order with XL-Shop.

Price @ XL-Shop : RM100 deposit with full price being RM398.
Price @ HobbySearch : Sales bargain price exclusive of shipment cost is RM238 (7867 yen). Since the box is extremely huge, being that it is a 1/4 scale and the figure is standing STRAIGHT up, the figure itself is 44cm tall, inclusive of the base, therefore the box is about half a metre long. And being 1/4, it ain't lightweight. So say, 3000yen for shipping is something which i assumed to be reasonably, since HS only has EMS service, 10867 yen equals to roughly RM330. If i were to fore-go my RM100 deposit (being a sunk cost), result is that i still lose since RM330+RM100. Extremely frustrating.

Oh well, life sucks, sometimes. But then again, with HS, i am subjecting myself to Pos Malaysia's service, which often time reveals to be a bad outcome than a nice and proper delivery. I get to pick the better looking box at XL-Shop (more like it is perfect condition) despite seeing it having someone else's name on it, since i was early.

My Rize just arrived 2 days ago.

Putting back Rize's clothes is also near impossible for me. I end up forcing it down the waist to make it fit, and now, some blue tint can be seen on the edge of the waist cut-off joint >_>

Nice Haruhi Shrine you have =). Btw, you bought both of the Freeing figures from XL-shop? So you ended up paying more for both of them?
