Macam not possible to link directly Forest City to Tuas unless they spend billions building dedicated facility and road

I have a feeling someone very very higher up than PMX pressure such decision

what about other passengers that does not live in forest city? they cant use the RTS?
*
Can, as long we can pay for it.

We dont even have budget for mrt 3. Can only create new more the new station for lrt3 for high dense Klang valley population. Now we need to get Parliment approval why we must have a MRT only for the 9k + some surroundings population when we have an RTS.

Not saying not possible in the future, the targeted for full developed forest city is around 700k population. There was numbers proposals by private groups or china to fund the HSR.

Need to look at how much population in forest city.

RTS can service 10k passengers each way in a hours. 2 way is equal to 20k.

Based on the repoty, only 9k population in Forest city. 1 way already fetch entire population to sg. After the peak hours the train will not be utilising.

RTS needs to run over a bridge.

I guess a new bridge for cars which directly goes to Forest City is cheaper. However, need new ICQ facilities.

Just extend East West MRT line to forest city enough already.
People can stay at forest city and go to Singapore to work via MRT.

New facilities definitely help.

Rumours there are going to crease fast lane visa for select company. I thinking those with visa can get priority lane/dedicated lane.

Why all the JB developments sounds like it can need or can only succeed when got access to Singapore?

And assume Singapore will sure agree?

FC promoters always talk like they can make 3rd link with Singapore

In the current era, a significant number of individuals from Skudai are opting to relocate to Masai and Pasir Gudang due to the comparatively more affordable housing prices.

The heightened demand for housing projects can be attributed to the accessibility provided by the Eastern Dispersal Link (EDL), Skudai Highway, Gelang Patah Highway, and the strategic proximity to both Johor Bahru customs and the Second Link customs.

I see...possible the trend in the future will be those working in JB will relocate to the east side (pasir hudang, ulu tiram, kota masai).

Those work in Singapore or Singapore company relocating to JB will mostly at the west side (medini, gelang patah, iskandar puteri).

Middle JB remain as CBD area.

instead of making a dedicated lane at immigration, they open up all the counter is better, can immediately help the traffic jam issue. now even got 10 counter there, mayb 5 is close during peak hour wtf...

I agree, These always an issue.

When the MB do spot check they open for few days. Then back to normal. Install CCTV monitor the man power also no use if they dont follow.

Maybe we should do fully automated counter instead.

"The Sultan Abu Bakar Customs, Immigration and Quarantine Complex (KSAB) on the Second Link has so far recorded 28,000 daily travellers."

Another update news by the star.

Not sure if the report is accurate, Compare to the woodland side of causeway 300k daily travelers. 28k is much lower amount, dedicated lane sure a great help, might just gone from 1-2 hours to less than 30 minutes journey.
