Possible it's apps that cause the battery drain, cos I Syok Syok installed lots of games into my GT Neo 5 SE
*
Yup... if you can lessen the apps in your phone. But then again whats the point of having so much storage space?

That's the question hard to answer, I have 1TB storage & started to simply install apps into it causing unnecessary battery drain, now my battery can lasts only 1 day from 2 days previously, really difficult choice, more apps more battery drain.

Hundreds years late but here it is lol
Got it from Oppo malaysia official store at 2799

My first 512G phone... plus USB-C 3
11G and 10T was USB 2.0 lol, the heck with 480mbps.
my 8T can do 4K 60FPS DP-ALT, but the phone is good as dead now, too bad

Afterthought of using Oneplus phones after many years
Prior to Oneplus 7T pro can forget about it.

1. Oneplus 7T pro HD1910 (Parallel import, CN version)
The good:
Long lasting battery for tiktok/IG on Wifi.
Okay-ish on LTE
USB-C 3, DP-ALT up to 1080P 60FPS, OTG-LAN can only use ancient Realtek chip (DLink DUB1312/Belkin USB hub)
The bad: heavy, thick glass made the FP sensor not sensitive
Motorized camera slowdown face unlock, dead after 3 years, ribbon probably broke.
Occasionally will reboot itself after prolonged use to output audio-video to TV

2. Oneplus 8T (KB2003)
The good:
Fit nicely on my hand, very sensitive FP, and fast face-unlock
First 5G NR, USB-C 3.0, DP-ALT support up to 4K 60FPS on my Dell U2723QE
Okay-ish support for OTG-LAN, only some are supported.
Stable OS
camera app can take good amount of details (IG will need to apply very strong blur filters lol)
The bad:
green line after OOS upgrade, thanks oneplus and samseng shetty AMOLED

3. Oneplus 10T (CPH2415)
The good:
150W ultra-ffffffffast charging, dem charger can charge my Lenovo lappy, without using the bulky charger.
Fast face and FP unlock, stable OS
Very sharp image in stock camera app when taking macro shot, Op11 looks blurrier (good for insta filter that remove blemish lol)
The bad:
USB-C 2.0 mad.gif
Wide body made it difficult to use on single hand.
Camera has strange image artifacts if using manual focus, most likely post-processing issue on edge sharperning.
Has some degree of Screen burn-in
Task switching between apps most of the time only show black screen, issue not seen in 8T/7T
SD8G1 not battery friendly, can be hot even just scrolling on tiktok/Ig
Moderate to high idle drain, chrome sometimes will feel sluggish (janky fps)

4. Oneplus 11 (CPH2449)
The good:
5G 1gpbs bandwidth (benchmarked speed test)
Long lasting usage even on 5G, all day standy, dont have to worry about battery drain, e-SIM
Fast face and FP unlock, Fast charge
Camera can take good photo, just enough for noob like me lol
The bad:
USB-2.0... srsly?
unstable OS, when using dual standby the OS will have high chance of rebooting itself.
Google pay update sometimes will fuckup the NFC causing payment failure (AMEX, Grab, Gpay, all went nuts)
Task switching between apps most of the time only show black screen, new software updates does not even fix it

5. Oneplus 12 (CPH2581)
Superseded all above.
the bad: NO CHARGER GIVEN, but oppo sent one for free
does it really help to save environment? nah

A bit late for the replies, for battery drain, it's not caused by installing a lot of apps
my OP7T and 8T has crap load of apps installed but the drain is minimal,

most of the time drain is mostly caused by account sync, yes if you installed a lot of apps and already logged in, a lot of them will wake up and do sync allowed by OS, just enable data saver to restrict this,
sycn or wakeup can be further restrict by disable foreground activity, like tiktok or IG, but dont do it if you use it for business that real time notification is important
just dont do this to whatsapp or other messaging app, it will cause the notification delayed until you wake up the phone.

location query is another battery drain, but android already improved so no more wake lock, you dont need location query all the time do you?

Smart 5G can reduce the drain too, when enabled it will switch to 4G to save power when not in heavy use, use wifi when possible.
Display just dont enable everything you see, like video sharpening, HDR, etc, unless you have powerbank in your hand or at home.

There are a lot of functions can drain battery too, OS optimization is one, Samsung is very good on it,
Had Galaxy tab s10, enabled Hotspot with dual 5G sim, overnight drain is minimal.
the standby idle is crazy if enabled battery saver, 1 to 2 % drains over 12/15 hours period.
Mobile network will always use more battery than wifi.

If anyone wanna send their Ace 3 to any 1+ official SC for screen repair/replacement, you will have to wait for at least 1 month+ as entire Malaysia 1+ don't have stock for that, they will need to order from China

broke my screen, now 80% of the screen goes black, still can press but lol

No, China set

I called a few SC in Selangor area, one of them mentioned they can fix it but have to order from China since they don't keep the stock for the parts (screen). Another SC further down Seremban said they don't do it, a few didn't pick up my call even though I called multiple times.

Try asking one seller for Oneplus phones. He is quite famous in bringing in Oneplus phones direct from China. I cannot remember his name. His shop is in USJ.

I remembered. Try google for Fastech Lim. But Im not sure if he can help repair phones not purchased from him.

With labour cost together quoted RM790

thought of fixing it myself like what I did to my K40 Gaming, but I see the screen got the curved shape at the side. I scare I might break the new screen if I repair it myself sweat.gif since I only repair flat screen so far

They have a silicone membrane to seal back the phone for waterproofing purposes and that is included in the cost. Bettter let the professionals handle this.

Rm790 for original screen is not too bad.
