got same issue. Technician say improper wiring.

Mine is living room.
2.5 hp kaput. Board is 1.3k
I check online is some hard reset or change in some fuse/capacitor.
But the technician just bluntly say board spoil .
Sometimes I just give up Malaysian want quick buck business
Change to 2hp burn 3k
I cannot go without aircon in living room the kid cannot sleep long

High powered invertor aircons are pretty exp nowadays

My biggest regret with my living room 2hp ac was getting one unit that's powerful so now my living room is constantly cold and dry plus it's noisy no matter how much temp I increase. It's so bad I keep my window open. I'm waiting for it to rosak to install two units at 1.5 hp each.

I fuckken hate that 2hp buts it's going strong 😅

I wonder which model are you guys using?
Mine is the "Infinity" Series, R410a
Mine was installed Dec 2017, so almost 6 years ish
Now is also getting the L5 error

And if I do end up going with replacing it entirely, what brand do yall recommend since I don't want to go daikin anymore

EDIT: Here's the thing, it sometimes works and it sometimes doesn't
I noticed it prefers working while the weather is cold (rainy/ night)
Where as in the afternoon it does not want to work


I have had a technican come and take a look
they checked, said gas is ok
did some cleaning, which did help it keep running fine for like a week or 2
and then now the problem is back again

My daikin aircond exactly same pattern like yours one, only working on cold day. I called few technician come to check, and they said need change the entire board, cost rm700++. Then I decided to get new Panasonic aircond.

My aircond Panasonic, I called them and ask them for their recognized technician come. They actually charge very reasonable rate, around RM100 for normal service.

Where your location? If in KL/PJ/Shah Ale or kawasan sewaktu dengannya, come I go change the cap for you like in the YT video. I have some free time now. I'll charge you small money only for changing the capacitor
