Any one here ever facing daikin inverter aircond problem with error code "L5" and fixed? Can recommend a reliable aircond technician to me.

Everytime I switch on my daikin inverter aircond, the outdoor compressor will run for few minutes then stop.
I did ask few ppl to service and check my aircond but still same. They said they only know how to install n service. They did said my aircond still got gas.

I got this before. Daikin inverter. L5. Same symptoms. No cold air. After call technician say it's the board. Needs to replace. Ask how much almost same price as one bijik 1hp ac. I said fuck it. I'll buy a new one.

L5 error means output overcurrent on your outdoor unit

Probably the inverter circuitry having some issue, or at other end check if the wiring to compressor have any damage/abnormalities.

Seems to be capacitor blow. YouTube has videos. Can ask electrician to help.

Most common cause is usually inverter capacitor kaput already, need to replace the capacitor.

should be the pcb board damaged...

same as mine... to change a new pcb - RM 800+-

They say this co they lazy to identify which part of the board kaput and edu job and more profitable to just change whole board. 90% of the time it’s just the capacitor that kaput.

Inverter instantaneous overcurrent (DC output) could be cause by defective compressor coil.
Or circuit board capacitor if your compressor is within 3 years.

Yeah I didn't wanna fix it because what time my boy was a newborn. Couldn't afford time to repair and find a the cap replacement.

Straight away throw the damn thing bought a new one. Problem free since then lol

If you on your ac whole night like me, it's worth it for cheaper letrik bill. So inverter is worth it. My living room ac is non inverter 2 hp I on it for three nights straight as I was sick and didn't wanna spread to my son. my ac bill from 300 myr jump to 500 myr

I learn my lesson now. I instelled one ac in the guest room. If master bedroom ac rosak I bring my son there to sleep

I scare later explode....lol
