Just moved to a new house and there's the fiber wall socket by EVO.
As of now, I've been told that Unifi might be ready 'anytime' as it's even enlisted under the coverage checker (for my unit).

Is there any way I can DIY to see if the fiber connection is indeed activated or port opened? I already have a Unifi connection at my old house so what I did was to take the fiberhome modem with me, plug it into this new fiber connector from the socket at my new home but the red LOS light keeps blinking.

My Unifi 500mbps contract had ended and I'm planning to subscribe to their home bundle offer of Unifi + Netflix + Mobile (2 SIMS) for a certain amount per month.

Thinking of forcing them to pay off RM500 for my current mobile line in order to terminate its contract (penalty) in lieu of their free 3-months bill payment.

Do you think they will layan? Or maybe I should look at TIME / Maxis fibre..

Anyone took Unifi's Home package inclusive of Fibre internet + Netflix + UnifiTV + Unifi Mobile 2 lines? Seems a bit tempting as my contract ended already..

Any latest promo by Unifi when we renew contract with them? Are they still giving out those Free TV's etc.?
