Anyone from Super Value YEP 2019? that entitled for Speed Upgrade? What did CS tell you about the speed upgrade? Mine they replied with this

"
Since the account currently subscribe under 800Mbps speed package. It is not elgible to receive it. However, the account will be upgrade in year 2024 due to CPE Replacement required.
"

So mean no upgrade then? Entitled upgrade but give E-cookies?

I texted them in Oct 2023.. Their reply.

The existing customer will entitled to a free speed upgrade, subject to network and technology infrastructure readiness in the area.

Hi xxxx. Sorry for the delay in responding. Rest assured, you're in for the speed boost, and we'll be in touch with you shortly with regards to the contract status. Keep an eye out for our updates, and stay tuned!

Beginning October 2023, the speed upgrade activity will be implemented in stages to eligible existing Unifi Home & Business customers to the new high speeds of 100Mbps, 300Mbps, 500Mbps, 800Mbps, and 1Gbps. While we are reviving up the speed for many, our Unifi Ultra 2Gbps subscribers will not enjoy the speed upgrade as they are already at the highest Unifi speed available.

Its already second month of 2024, still no news for 800 Mbps?
The in app message of free upgrade for this plan is no longer there. TM just keep quiet?

Just curious why TM treated the Copper's customer as a new customer (with new registration), we have been using their service for so many years. There are no privileges when switching to the Fiber line?  TM should offer something for this group of customers in order to retain or move to Fiber line.  mad.gif  mad.gif  mad.gif

Last time got special price for user who migrate from copper to fiber with RM69 with the speed of 30 Mpbs. I am not sure does it still have coz the lowest plan now would be plan RAHMAH with the same price but have criteria to be fulfill. Last time no criteria. As long as you're Streamyx user, then you are eligible once fiber is available at your place

QUOTE(angelofro @ Mar 4 2024, 01:21 PM)
hi guys, wondering any new register user unifi best plan?
*
Try to search for second hand account. I've done that on 2022. Place that I search for it including here, Facebook, and carousell. I was searching for it for a month. Everyday I open these three website with the same query to search. Eventually, I found an account with less than a year contract at that time. A normal 100 Mbps account, without any discount or special offer. Patiently paid monthly commitment while seeing others were proudly post their SWU converts. The contract ended exactly when TM launch free upgrade. I went to TMPoint to change to SWU, then voila now 500 Mbps.

That is possible if you're patient and you are willing to go thru the hassle of changing ownership. Many people cannot tahan and simply go apply a new plan instead with a full 24 months contract.
But if you can, I'm sure it will reward you well icon_rolleyes.gif

Finally my 800mbps get FSU to 1gbps rclxms.gif
Package name also changed from 800mbps to 1gbps - pro upgrade
*
So it is true that they will upgrade to 1Gbps. I really have high hope that they will upgrade 800 Mbps to 2Gbps as 800 Mbps is basically is 1 Gbps during the time they cannot deliver 1,2 Gbps.

QUOTE(kino318 @ Mar 12 2024, 03:50 PM)
hi,
my unifi rm129 300mbps contract end last month. I visited TM point and they refused to offer any swu package. so I went to maxis and take the agent offer which is rm89 100mbps without any landline, free 3 months + 1 month offer fr agent. After 2-3 days, Unifi call me and offer me rm79 100mbps free 6 months, landline with 600 mins free call, so i quickly grab this offer.
*
Memang itu pun tujuannya. Stay with unifi is the plan as the name suggest, is for customer to stay with unifi. Unless you have a prove you're gonna jumpship, some TM Point bolayan.

QUOTE(borgyang @ Mar 13 2024, 10:12 PM)
I just downgraded from 500 Mbps to 300 Mbps. Personally, I don't really feel any differences in terms of speed, unless you are a heavy user who always downloads big torrent files every day. I would rather Unifi provide users with a more reliable and stable internet connection. I don't want to experience network congestion during peak hours at night or suddenly cannot access certain websites or apps. It is very frustrating, you know. bangwall.gif
*
I still remembered back then when TM telemarketer call me to upgrade with additional 10 to 20 ringgit from 30 to 50 Mbps. This is back, when TM highest package was 100 Mbps. Because at that time also got free upgrade (before massive upgrade during Gobind Era). I asked them kalau tak upgrade daripada 30 ni pun nanti still dapat free upgrade kan....? ke 50 Mbps. The telemarketer said, better abg upgrade ke 50 bang, ada kemungkinan dapat 100 terus, bukan apa 100 ni tak congest, kalau speed rendah2 ni takut congested je nanti. I, myself, at that time was thinking, it's a freakin fiber. How the hell would it congested? Ini bukan Wireless technology, congest here and there if many people live at certain place. True enough now congested here and there

QUOTE(ken120 @ Mar 14 2024, 01:49 AM)
Just 1gbps, no 2gbps. If still gobind era for now, 2gbps is possible la. But now is actor era, you know la...ada keje mcm xkeje doh.gif

Well technically he is back in action. But, his role is no longer allow him to do what he has done.

QUOTE(sHawTY @ May 7 2024, 01:12 PM)
That's weird. My package was renamed from UniFi 800Mbps (Turbo Upgrade 2018) to Unifi Home 1Gbps - Pro Upgrade immediately after the free upgrade was done.
*
Same.. I got mine on 17th November, within few days it change to Unifi Home 1Gbps - Pro Upgrade. Unlike my 300 to 500 Mbps free upgrade, took months for the name to change to 500 Mbps Pro Upgrade. Anybody from 800 Mbps get 2Gbps upgrade?
