quick question, anyone ever encounted a problem where unifi tv is incredibly laggy? like, 20s smooth, then 2-3s stutter and frame drop, rinse and repeat

I had the same problem. Since I don't watch it, I don't bother diagnosing the issue. I remember having it quite a long time back. You only had this problem recently?

ya Unifi TV apps from playstore install on smart tv

when using the old whitebox, i use vlan600 (dedicated unifitv separate bandwidth) but the video seems not smart enough

now i use the Unifi TV apps from playstore on my smart tv.

Should have been given to you during installation by the installer and via email. If you do not have it, live chat or call 100.

anyone ever successfully negotiated with TM to reduce price when renewing?

I'm currently running 800Mbps (free upgrade from 50Mbps -> 500Mbps in 2019, then 800Mbps last year). was thinking of negotiating a reduced price with the SWU 4.0 when attempting to renew, and perhaps pressure them with the current maxshit deal of 1Gbps for 159 and stuffs (i'm a currentl maxshit postpaid user so it'd be a win for me unless maxshit is also shit at fibre).

also, does SWU 4.0 include unifi TV? family likes to watch documentaries and news there.

current SWU also doesn't seem to have good incentives for existing 800Mbps users as 800Mbps has been phased out by TM for 1Gbps, and 1Gbps is asking for RM239, free 6 months (based on a certain SWU extra variant)

and it seems that the 3 months free is a low-bar, because they're actually offering 6 months free based on the SWU catalog.

went to tmpoint and ask for SWU

they have an offer for 1Gbps RM159, free 6 months, but auto downgrade to 500Mbps after 2 years

ask them if they can just downgrade to 800Mbps they say cannot biggrin.gif cuz my current plan is 800Mbps

also asked about the unifi tv renewal because my parents rely on that, and the free 6 months will not cover it (duh)
