Upgrade starts in 2024. It is still 2023A, so got another year to go... by that time, 2025 rolls around, we will all miss it whistling.gif

been experiencing slow connection with cable for the past 2 days
after calling to unifi to reset the port, still same speed

What else can I do? How long do I need to wait out before TM will 'layan' another reset?

800Mbps become 80Mbps only

Yep, seeing the shit here too.

Power cycle the router and the problem gone, and back to normal 800Mbps speed.

I don't know, some user received updates via TR069
Well, based on V1.1.0 and V1.1.2, both has 10G/2.5G, just without driver support.

When get update still don't know, better enable TR069.

performance should be similar to my PON Stick, single link 2Gbps

This what on V1.1.0 Firmware:

Interesting... So RTL9607 SOC actually support 10G/2.5Gbe, but functionality is not enabled ?

Want to get FSU also so susah. Anyway today got update. Randomly checked My Orders and saw something appeared dated 3 days ago.

20240707: Live chat for FSU
20240711: TM call to accept TnC.
20240719: 2 missed calls from TM
20240727: Modify Package order created. Current status "Order is in progress"

OK, back to waiting. Still July.

Good for you. Just got off live chat (waiting time about 3 hours) with TM, and was basically told to wait for TM to do the upgrade batch by batch, citing the lack of devices (no stock) to support the 1Gbps speed.

There is no incentive for TM to upgrade the 800Mbps users to 1Gbps. Regular 1Gbps paid RM259, but 800Mbps paid much less. If one were to choose to upgrade to the RM259 plan, the "device" to support 1Gbps would appear to be in stock. It is all about $$$ for TM.

At this point, I'm considering downgrading to RM79 100Mbps or take the SWU RM159 1Gbps (after 24 months 500Mbps, price remains at RM159) plan. Seem pointless to wait for something that probably drags on till the end of next year.

mine is 500mbps RM119 SWU 3.0 6 month bill free without unifi tv
someone told got offering 1Gbps RM159 without unifi tv

Plan was 800Mbps + Ultimate TV Pack YEP 2019 (RM209/month), so out of contract for a long time already. Walked into TMPoint and asked for the SWU 1Gbps, RM159 plan (6 months waiver, 1Gbps only for 24 months, after 24 months, speed dropped to 500Mbps, price remained at RM159), and it was accepted. Not sure if other TMPoint will do the same, so your mileage may vary.

About a week ago, upgraded to 1Gbps (with existing FibreHome ONU + own router). Today, installer came to complete the order, ie tried to install the D-Link AX3000 DPN-FX3060V Combo Box ONR. Not successful - phone OK, GPON status OK, but PPPoE login failed (even after password reset). Installer thinks it is TM system issue, said can try later if want. The good thing is there is no issue swapping the setup (FibreHome ONU + own router) with D-Link ONR. So will try again sometime in the future to see how it goes.

Bro
If you willing to learn a bit of Linux, i can suggest you setup your own DNS server which can support DoH out of the box. Sorry to say many TP Link WiFi 6 product does not support DoH/DoT out of the box, so external device are recommended. You can even host a VM if your PC is on 24/7.

Bro..i said many , not entirely, got difference k?
I also know AX55 does support, but our bro here not using AX55 so beat it 😂

You can read it over here, TP link finally update their info on Wifi 7 routers

I thought AX55 is kind of on the lower end of the TP-Link WiFi 6 product range, so the higher end ones would probably have support of DoH/DoT. Not the case ? Guess I got lucky to have AX55.

1G for RM159??? SIGN ME UP!!!
Next year can try XD

Beware that it is 1Gbps for 24 months only. After 24 months, it is 500Mbps, price maintained at RM159.
