If currently on 500Mbps @ RM169/mth (RM179.15 with tax), and already got the free speed upgrade 800/200Mbps.

Can terminate and re-subscribe again to get it cheaper at RM149/mth + free 3 mths? Will they also give the free speed upgrade after that?

You can choose to downgrade to SWU 500mbps plan if out of contract, no free upgrade.

Thanks.

if wish to terminate the line, better walk in to tmpoint or unifi.. u might taker longer time if request via live chat,

alternatively is terminate n apply another line.

believe only when u wish to port out they unifi will offer u fee waiver...

Thanks.

do not terminate, refer this https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...ost&p=110279281
no more speed upgrade

Thanks. But the post says this:
RM 159 - 500 Mbps SWU 4.0, Free 6 months + Router Combo + Free Speed Upgrade 1Gbps (24 Months)
Means still can get free speed upgrade? Confused sweat.gif

I would say just go for it first, after 24 months, see what SWU or promo that they can offer for you to recontract.

Alright thanks.

Chill guys, let me ask noob questions here. biggrin.gif

- What's the deal, should I wait for the so-called SWU 5.0? Or should I just go ask and try my luck.
- With SWU they usually give new modem/router?

If you can utilized that 800mbps then better stay. If 500mbps is enough, better take that SWU4.0. you can save a LOTT.  You can save about RM1,554 during 2 years of contract. postpaid normally no contract, can terminate after 2 week or 1 month of usage.

Thanks. Forgot to mention I asked, the service rep said the mobile plan is also 2yr contract.
And asked if there're other SWU plans with speed upgrade, only the 1GB plan but >RM200 per mth.

Curious - how good/bad is Unifi mobile, compared to other telcos CelcomDigi Maxis?

Is it so bad to port in, even without contract?

The 100mbps doesn't make sense, in their website is already showing RM89, and it doesn't have to bundle with prepaid.

From website you can't get free 6-mth waiver, hence SWU.
