Hi people. I downgrade my unifi from 1Gbps to 500mbps RM149 per month last year. Now I'm surprised to see that the bill is now RM220 for 500mbps.

Is there something that I missed? Why price increased?

Oh damn, it's actually RM209 monthly. Unifi advanced basic plus. I dont know what was the plus is. I thought I subscribed to just internet package.

Is there any resource where can I see what exactly is advanced basic plus is?

Edit: it seems that I dont get the promo price, the price for 500mbps is RM209. Promo price is RM159. What gives??? Promo is only for new customer?

Yeah, I want internet only. The TV was from old plan, which somehow still associated with my account.

Ffs. They give me package with TV. They said the 159 promo only started this year Jan 2024.

Which is a lot of bullshit because I specifically choose the RM159 package from last year.

Can be fixed if I go to TMpoint?

Alright people. Seems like I have my answer now.

Back before October 2023, the promo was RM209.

I did my plan downgrade in September 2023 (after a month delay because the mesh wifi is still in contract period)

Missed the RM159 promo by a few weeks.

what was causing it? mine also super selow this night, although didn't get any sms. 800mbps unifi now become kbps...

Mine was on 500mbps package deal with some streaming bullshit stuff, paid RM250 monthly. Last month I noticed suddenly it got renames 800mbps pro upgrade.

I wouldnt know if it already 800mbps because wifi speed probably max like under 400mbps. But these days I noticed service are getting horrible by the day. Im getting 20mbps speed as typing this now with no channel or support to send a complaint.

Now it's Unifi home 800mbps - pro upgrade. RM221 monthly to be exact including tax.

someone turned off the mesh router. silly me.

packaged with lionsgate and i don't know what the other thing chinese streaming thing. back then it's the cheapest 500mbps deal.
cannot change to anything cheaper because contract 2 years, will end september this year lol. they won't let me escape.

mesh and tv box was from previous contract, i started unifi on 800mbps. even that, tm was pretty ass about it - I can't change to cheaper plan because they deliver the mesh wifi 2 weeks late after contract started and have to wait extra 2 weeks.

It's just internet and lionsgate play + iqiyi, which i never touched. do let me know if there's a way to make it cheaper.
