As far as i know all 800mbps should get free upgrade to 1gbps at no extra charge or contract. But some here got a different offer. Free 3 months, speed upgrade to 1gbps and 24 months contract. You have to double check with TM. They're emotionally unstable always flip flop offers lol.

I don’t recommend renewing for another 24 months; the upgrade from 800 Mbps to 1 Gbps doesn’t offer a much improvement. Additionally, you might not experience the full 1 Gbps performance due to device compatibility issues.

If I didn’t need the fixed line number from TM, I would switch to Maxis Fiber due to its better pricing. Maxis offers me RM159 and can get 3/6 months waiver.

If you are using Maxis’s own infrastructure, don’t worry about their after-sales support.

It's a good deal if you already on Maxis postpaid. How much you pay for current 1gbps plan with Unifi?
The stability is as good as when you are on Unifi, provided that the infra in your area doesn't face major breakdown often. . From 2021 I have switch to Digi fibre, then to Maxis fibre, all running on Unifi infra.
There are always talk to psychologically persuade ppl not to switch out from Unifi.

I’ve contacted them early this year. They said infrastructure not able to handle. July they called me if want to renew contract to 2GB. I said give me my free 1GB without renewal than I’ll consider. Within a week they came.

How many times ding-dong? What excuses they give? I only ding them once in Jan then they dong back say I need to slow slow wait Jan-July. So July, I ding again, baru dapat the upgrade last day of July.

Want to complain also cannot since they said Jan- July and memang the upgrade was done 31 July.

Once the upgrade is completed, you might consider submitting a request for termination to potentially secure the RM159 SWU price.

However, it's advisable to wait at least one to two months before doing so.
