On my way Junior Member 518 posts Joined: Aug 2005	Today unifi called to ask me confirm the 1gbps upgrade. I guess i should keep my current router? Don't think the new combo router offer anything better.

Hmm the installer never gave me my voip password. Can ask from tm through phone? Do i need it to use the voip phone?

You don't need it to use your phone if your phone is already set up. I got it just in case I wanted to go the GPON stick route. Previously, I only had my PPPOE pwd. So this time, I got the PLOAM or they call it ONU pwd and the VOIP pwd when the TM contractor came over. Good to hear as my phone is already setup. I will try the dlink over the weekend just to see if everything works. countingcrows liked this post

It should work regardless of bridge or router mode. Calling 100 won't get you the PIN. Calling your previous installer won't get you the PIN either unless he screenshot it. You need to call 100 and ask for technician visit. When the technician call you, ask him for the PIN. If you go through this process, you might as well ask for everything. Ping 1.9.1.9. If the ping is low, everything inside your house is fine. I tried in bridge mode, inserted the phone jack but the phone did not work. I chose to use back the old huawei onu, that's why he only left me with the black d link and the onu password.
