QUOTE(jusbella @ May 2 2024, 06:39 PM) I remember there is someone post about some area / residence is sharing split fibre, or shared same port switching. So if unlucky "maybe" someone is torrenting at full speed then you get choking speed until tat people stop torrenting / stop downloading. My area rarely people torrent. Mostly retirees who watch TV during the day as well. And this is only happening since the past 2 weeks. Prior to that it was better. Suspect it's an issue with the gateway or the routing. jusbella liked this post

It's super slow on all websites.
Loading LYN takes up to a minute or more. Loading Netflix takes up to a minute as well. Ping on most international sites comes back with high latency. All IP ranges have this issue. |

My Maxis 5G connection has no issues accessing LYN and other sites.
Unifi connection is the issue. Everything lags under it. Another thread mentioned there is an issue with Cloudflare. However after testing with different connections, it is definitely the TM Unifi routing having issues. We need to email them and see what they say? I tried calling the CS but they don't seem to understand what's going on. |

QUOTE(kwss @ Sep 18 2024, 11:41 PM) You don't care because your intention is not too help others. I am on 175.141.19.xxxSome posted they using 175 but having problem while others don't. i want to look up if the ingress is via the broken router. If it's not, then it's other problem. All other IPs have issues with LYN, Youtube, Netflix, any other websites. This range that I have, has issues with Twitter and Discord. It is very slow loading for both. I had to reboot my router about 20 times to get this IP range. One thing I have realized is that A LOT of users are trying to get new IPs as I am somehow getting a delay in the reassignment of IPs. A disconnect/reconnect does not give me new IPs, only a Reboot does. 2 weeks ago, this wasn't the case. Somehow, the IP reassignment/expiry/renewal and/or software/hardware being used by TM is choking or having issues too. I also earlier got 1.69.75.x These 2 IPs seem to load local sites much faster. However, on Disney Plus, Netflix, 4k content seems to load very slow. It takes about 10-15 secs to load 4k content, it will somehow start from 720p then go up to 1080p then only 2160p. Unsure why. No issues at all with my MAXIS 5G connection. This post has been edited by Futurama: Sep 19 2024, 12:00 AM |
