Hi.. not sure of this os rhe group .. i am on unifi 1gbps.. tonight im having serious slowdown when connexting to my international trading brokerage ... Anyone facing similar slow down ? What can i do to rectify this issue ?

Most would recommend getting a VPN, but it’s not a guarantee since the routing to the VPN server might be screwed as well, plus many brokerages/institutions blacklist known VPN server providers. Your best bet is Cloudflare Warp (works for my trading needs).

And for others don't care about privacy issues, get yourself a WARP+ or ZeroTrust for free.
(unsure how to setup ZeroTrust, as I saw reddit mention about ZeroTrust "MIGHT" get high priority as WARP+, so just sharing it out for others to test about it la, me lazy person. ;P
Should give better privacy, because it target business customer, still, if you have time to set it up.)

So far TM do nothing to the certain IP range that based on WARP, it is still routing to KUL, so you can going via the routing of CloudFlare and enjoy full speed for free.
(And nope, tested, it is dedicated for WARP only, not allowed to use as :80 or :443)

This might shared your phone number out by telegram, so be aware if you gonna generating key for yourself, so far I generated once, no stranger sharing the same key/account with me, and yes, faster than regular WARP, full speed for oversea slow long comic site. wink.gif

---EDIT
Yes, no privacy.

Why would people risk joining some Telegram group for a Warp+ key? You can buy a legal one via in-app purchase for RM8 only (good for 5 devices, if not mistaken). Nowadays nasi ekonomi also more expensive. No need ZeroTrust sign up also unless you need some sort of Tailscale-esque functionality.

Yes, Cloudflare aren’t exactly angels, but I’d probably be willing to trust them more than TM at the very least.
On a scale of trust, imho;
Decent VPN > rented VPS > Warp+ > Youtuber Meme VPN (Nord, TorGuard, etc) > Satan > Malaysian ISP/Telco.

Which dns resolver your using? I find my next.dns is sluggish lately. It's better with cf now.  Done dnsspeedtest where next.dns is the slowest dns to me

Cloudflare Warp+ with NextDNS, in case you're interested;

Meaning Nextdns is failing to operate here?
*
No, meaning it works fine, for me at least. On bareback Unifi I usually get connected to the premiumrdp-kul or anexia-kul servers with <20ms latency, and if I turn on Cloudware Warp I get to use the zepto-sin node (like in that screenshot) with 10ms or less. You can visit https://ping.nextdns.io to see what server you’re connected to.

Did you visit the page using NextDNS or not? If using, it should display a dot beside the node you’ve been assigned with. You can also try https://test.nextdns.io

Dear all,
Please post at least /24 for IPv4 abd /48 for IPv6.

Example:
115.134.172.xxx

Not 115.xxx
Not 115.134.xxx

Internet routing for IPv4 has the longest prefix length of /24. Posting anything else helps no one.
*
You only investigating the 115.xx pool?
I’m not at my Unifi house right now, but it’s currently connected to 210.187.135.xx (just now checked remotely) in case you’re curious.

I'm on 147.158.238.**

I think anyone on the Johor subnet is affected.
*
I’m in JB, and the prefix I posted above is apparently unaffected by this particular issue. It still likely faces the usual congestion at night though; 10pm on the dot the connection to my VPN provider’s Singapore servers will start dropping packets.

Currently on 175.137.96.xxx and things are pretty dodgy.

On the other hand, I’ve never had it this good past 10pm for my VPN provider’s SG node.

TM practicing some high level satirical dumbfuckery here, but for the first time in months, I can’t complain. laugh.gif

Since you're using 500mbps, you can brought any used TM ONU in the used markets.
All you need to extract from the AIO is the PLOAM password and S/N of the AIO, VoIP details and your PPPoE to put in your OPNsense box.
Transfer your PLOAM password first to the new ONU and try it out...
I can try to guide, just hit my dms smile.gif

I assume one would need a wired connection to the ONU for this?
Recently switched to Maxis Fibre on Unifi infra and the installers didn’t replace my TM Huawei unit (EchoLife something), and I’ve been thinking of getting a backup unit on the used market, just in case. Problem is my home is completely wireless these days. Don’t even have a laptop with a LAN socket anymore.

What does this “final bill” mean? I ported out last month and paid my last Unifi bill already. Previously just used JomPay for bill payment every month when I got a SMS. Never signed up or logged into the portal or app before, and don’t intend to.

Tried calling 100, but it returned a “something went wrong, please try again, blah blah” when I entered the phone number attached to Unifi (I’m assuming it’s been terminated already) and I don’t get any option to press a number to speak to an actual human in the billing section. Aside from walking into a TMPoint, any way I can verify that I don’t owe TM any outstanding payments?

I can confirm UDP bottleneck issue, since some of my Wireguard usage to SG is unable to run for the similar high speed with TCP usage.
(But it might also depends of the routing,As i can get abit higher UDP speed to LeaseWeb SG(400+Mbps/40ms routing) compare to other SG server(200-300Mbps/10+ms routing).)

Edited:
I didn't have 500mbps or higher speed OVH SG vps,or it might be a metric to see is that better for TM private peering network server.
Anyone have the high bandwidth speed Dedicated server or VPS with OVH SG might be able to see any similar issue with TM.

Possible they’re throttling WireGuard default port 51820? Did you try switching to a different port, eg: 443, 500, 1194, 4500, etc? Maybe lower MTU value as well?
