QUOTE(kwss @ Dec 31 2024, 03:30 PM) Unifi is broken in Batu Caves. DWDM maybe? Cable cut?PPPoE fail to connect. ONU state fluctuate between O2 to O5 back to O2 again. Fiber reading -22.95dBm The ONU red light diagnostic is not accurate. Once it is in O2 and above, red light will not appear but it is still a fault in the last mile. |

QUOTE(Edlois @ Jul 1 2024, 01:47 AM) ![]() Tm unifi just upgraded my plan to 800mbps. and gave me this Fiberhome HG6145F3. I had an existing DECO M5 mesh wifi. But the problem comes when. I change the combo mode -> Bridge mode. I reset my DECO mesh and authenticate the PPPOE service credentials with proper VLAN profile. it's not working. Okay nvm then I change back the ONU/combo box to combo mode again. suddenly. the internet led start blinking. meaning I can't access to the internet. I had the correct PPPOE service credentials then I didn't touch anything, other than toggling between "Combo Mode" and "Bridge Mode" I can't find any other people who got this "HG6145F3" on the forum. so.... help...... HG6145F3 menu>Network>Auth>OLT Auth>Passkey is ONU password. Once connected , Play Store Fiberhome app & use it to add your mesh clients or to use built-in speed test to test your subscribed plan. This is actual/trusted speed of your 800mbps. ![]() This post has been edited by msrazi: Jan 2 2025, 04:14 AM Moogle Stiltzkin liked this post

Is this still valid in 2024? https://www.blacktubi.com/tp-link-unifi-setup/ Moogle Stiltzkin liked this post

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Jan 3 2025, 11:28 AM) i got this onu box fiberhome, same model. they replaced old one for this. The ONR called combo router because it's ONU+router & only use 1 power supply. Backdoor? Even NEC Pasolink have backdoor for maintenance use. That's include the OLT your router connected to.It's an all in one. Last time was modem and router separate, but now this onu is 2 in one. did not mess with the setting, just used as is, seems to work. Is this fiberhome HG6145F3 got the backdoor and dodgy crap on it? found answer here https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...ost&p=110303355 basically nobody knows https://www.zdnet.com/article/multiple-back...erhome-routers/ *** Update The HG6145F3 board & the test pins is it backdoor. ![]() This post has been edited by msrazi: Jan 3 2025, 04:27 PM Moogle Stiltzkin liked this post

Just aware with someone who has physical access to your LAN port & your wifi clients. Only them can access the admin login page, the reason why we should change default admin password to strong one to avoid bad people gain full control. More important to worry is the backdoor vulnerability of the client of the router such as smart home, NAS, server etc even. But the problem with security itself is it only for someone or owner who remember own password, not for try & error owner. No use for try & error owner if end up with factory reset i.e smartphone etc. Moogle Stiltzkin liked this post

QUOTE(tng55 @ Jan 2 2025, 06:42 PM) Metro-E connection very limited area and limited infra not anywhere like unifi infra alot many area available This lease line not like a consumer ready to serve. Once u subscribe even new main & backup cable they tarik for u. I prefer to say it price than availability. But 80km SFP working fine in UPE if worry about distance. Moogle Stiltzkin liked this post

QUOTE(brian8989 @ Jan 3 2025, 11:58 PM) Hi, does anyone know how to use the USB port of this Unifi router Skyworth Unifi Combo Box Ax3000? I connected an external harddisk to it, planning to use it as SMB file server. But it does not appear in my network. Every routers with USB port is for SMB function & not enabled by default. You will find a service menu to enable & config it in control panel page. Basically found in same section as FTP, telnet etc. Also read manual for supported filesystem for the USB device. Btw I use that USB port to power 5V cooling fan. Please help. Thank you. |

QUOTE(bugipunch @ Jan 9 2025, 06:17 AM) if u still could not get the turbo upgrade u have to demand them to give u a report number. My case also same and they refuse to give me 1 so i threaten them to give me a report number. I think u were SWU3.0 800mbps user upgraded from 500mbps. So SWU4.0 500mbps upgraded to 1gbps directly because no more 800mbps plan. Mean 10X Turbo 800mbps upgraded from 100mbps not eligible for 1gbps upgrade, the reason why it's cancelled.. already RM109. Sound fair.My package 800mbps upgraded to 1gbps. |

QUOTE(Rhetoric @ Jan 9 2025, 04:50 PM) Make habit to access control panel using computer. Use chrome + any view password extension. Then u can view any password behind asterisk. No need to call support. In ZTE ONU only can see onu password but can't see decrypted 6 digit voip password, only blank. This post has been edited by msrazi: Jan 9 2025, 06:10 PM |
