QUOTE(skywardsword @ Aug 21 2024, 02:45 PM) He would not see what happens in 18 months. when the total 24 month ends contract? The only way now to check contract end date is either through your bind device (example Unifi TV box added date under your account) which has the date stated or contact live chat / walk-in TM Point.Do remember a lot of people, the Gross price is always the normal price, and the discount, perpetual or not, will only know at the end of contract right? Anyhow, if we "the important family member " who always help to check on the Home internet line, dies.... then in 24 months, if it reverts to normal price with no discount....I sincerely hope, someone else in the family is "smart and motivated" enough to continue monitor what TM is charging them for internet. It is chump change for some... like rm 10-40... but to a lot of ktard in the M80, we need that to help out in the family. I believe we having same type of contract - Disney Plus Hotstar. Mine is 29 Sept 2022 - 2024 which is next month. When is yours ended? |

QUOTE(eugenecctan @ Sep 1 2024, 10:48 PM) And again, stop making assumption for things that u dunno. I went and they offer me SWU 500mb for rm139. Which is more expensive than my current rm129. That is why I didn't opt for it. I believe alot of users like me waiting for SWU 5.0 or better deal to renew. Since someone mentioned about speed bump to 1gb. that is l why I am asking on terminate in the apps if possible for SWU or better deal. If anyone tried that before do share. Thanks. Does it still have 6 months waiver? |

The offered price also will revert become expensive after 24 months also as per indicated. No longer shows perpetual. I wonder how the latest SWU going to be as mine contract ended 29th September 2024 |

TM called me regarding about the SWU plan but he didn't do homework ?
My current plan RM139+RM30 with naming 300mbps special edition (VAR +UPB) but actual speed is FSU 2023 500mbps He offering me same price same plan but will upgrade 800mbps later. Then later he check again see that new plan actually cost RM219/month and halt with me. Say will check with management again :\ However, it does still come with 6 months waiver. |

QUOTE(BenYeeHua @ Sep 9 2024, 04:32 PM) There is a lot of UniFi customer(>50% of Malaysian, you know), so it is fine to make mistake, should be he looking at another customer's data while talking with you lol. Lol... but i wish to lower down my cost though, hahaOr the person that write batch processing failed to handle those special plan case, so this happen. So guess i will see whichever cheaper first Update: So the guy call back and give me this offer SWU 4.0 Option 1 : 500mbps RM139 with 6 months waiver TV pack (Ruby) RM30 without waiver So it's (139 * 18) + (30 * 24) = RM134.25 prior SST / month Option 2 : Everything same price but only 3 months waiver with speed upgrade to 800mbps (RM139 * 21 ) + (30 * 24) = RM151.63 prior SST / month Guess i should go opt for other ISP ? QUOTE(eugenecctan @ Sep 9 2024, 05:27 PM) The guy say permanent 03 7964 7000 QUOTE(BenYeeHua @ Sep 9 2024, 06:09 PM) Depend, the good side for UniFi is fast repair and 99% uptime, you hardly seek those benefit from others. Gonna walk in for better communication, the phone call one very hard to understand cause that guy like keep read from script. If you really need stable oversea high speed, TM ISP + VPN is always the best solution, else, moving to SG which is where the server located, lol. For low cost, guess only Time? But Time downtime is not during midnight la, 99% of my UniFi downtime maintenance is midnight, and it take 1-2 hours only. ____________________________________________________________________________________ QUOTE(YoungMan @ Sep 9 2024, 07:11 PM) If you wish to lower down your cost, best is to downgrade to 300mbps rm119. For 500mbps, the price is around that rm139 range. QUOTE(hazairi @ Sep 9 2024, 08:37 PM) QUOTE(hazairi @ Sep 9 2024, 10:13 PM) SWU plan and no need to bundle with Unifi postpaid. I took the 1Gbps offer, RM159 with free 6 months and free 6 months of Disney Hotstar Man, that's good deal for 1Gbps offer and 300mbps Gonna walk in and ask for it then. Thanks! |

QUOTE(hazairi @ Sep 10 2024, 08:48 AM) If you're not that heavy downloader and household not that big, 300mbps package seems damn worth it. Like me, my household is big and all of us eat bandwidth for meals, so, really prefer the 1Gbps The utilisation of me currently really lower than before alreadyI'm actually just 300mbps plan previously though (FSU 2023 to 500mbps) so yea 300mbps should be enough Just that the current offer (Telemarket) feels a bit meh .. Gonna find a time to walk in TMNut and ask |

QUOTE(dev/numb @ Sep 13 2024, 11:37 AM) Usually yes. In my case TM called to counter offer (500mbps@RM129/month + 6 months free + mesh router set), but I declined the offer (because even 1Gbps@RM99/month would be pointless when their international routing koyak every night) and confirmed my transfer request. Note that the TM person calling you with the counter offer most likely doesn’t know the full details of the plan you’re switching to, so you can buaya a bit (like tell them Maxis are giving you 6 months free, even if you got only 3 months from the agent) to get a better offer, but don’t go overboard and say unrealistic stuff. Be mindful that any counter offer you agree to will come with a 2 year contract. When you receive this offer? |

QUOTE(dev/numb @ Sep 13 2024, 03:24 PM) Still waiting for installer. TM called to verify transfer only two days ago. Can’t give any comparisons for now. I also received few days ago but the offer like so bad. There’s always an element of risk involved with changing ISP. Can only hope for the best. Two days ago, as I mentioned above. Worse than yours I still reject at the moment. |
