instead of using DoH-proxy reinvented by people out there, i decided to use nginx as my DNS-over-HTTPS forwarder. no need to reinvent the wheel.
immediately can support all HTTP/1 to HTTP/3, tcp and quic protocols.
and specifically choosing nginx; because i can hide my DNS-over-HTTPS entry point behind normal web hosting.
Unless one knows the exact https://what-is-my-exact-name/, you shouldn't be able to identify it nor use it. Hiding in plain sight.
*
I am using nginx to forward DoH queries to my AGH so that I can use https://my-doh-address/somethingelse instead of /dns-query too. But I am still stuck with DoT on android (when it's on mobile data) if I don't use to use third party apps for DNS right?

For those who use TP-link Archer series router, you can get a new IP by disconnecting and re-connecting in the Advanced > Internet tab (the page where you enter your unifi login). This doesn't require a full reboot and only takes a few seconds. Just make sure it's fully disconnected before connecting back.

Too bad I switched to Deco and I can no longer do this :/

just reboot your deco using the app.
*
Yeah what I meant was there's no way to quickly refresh IP without a full reboot.

Do have a list of known good IPs?

I understand 60.xxx is cooked. I've been forsaken by that IP range.
*
I am on 219.xx.xxx.xxx IP and it has been great. ping to shopee 11ms and LYN below 8ms.
Am in klang valley

you can, go to Internet Connection and just change the DNS , the ip address will be reset.
*
Oh ya, I changed DNS once and it reset my IP. Forgot about that.
Since I am on a good IP I will try it next time. Thanks for the tip!

how ironic after your silly comparison that your crappy old Asus has DoT and my modern Decos did not even had this Oh Wow wizardry function, and after more than 2 weeks, tplink just released a newer firmware that enables DoH and DoT function .

Had I listened to you , i would have another piece of hardware laying around unutilized like your crappy router. You made my day really.

Wow this is good news. I hope DoH and DoT comes to the newer models like BE65 / BE85 too.

Anyone unifi down in ampang area? I think I received notification 2 days ago that it will be down today.. but I always receive random warning like this and never down. Today it's down for real. But I can't remember the message saying will be back at what time...

EDIT: seems like a short outage, it's back

Hi all, my new condo only has unifi or maxis fibre coverage. My current house is on 1gbps plan at RM279 + SST (expensive...)

If I relocate Unifi to new condo I pay the same, or get new line but tied to new contract for RM249 + SST (2 years), then back to RM289 + SST.

Maxis is cheaper at RM249 + SST but I have had good experience with Unifi so far including the support. Wonder if there's anyway to get cheaper than RM249 for Unifi 1gbps :/

And no, 500mbps is no-go due to the 100mbps upload speed. Really hope TIME is available.

If you are out of contract, apply for SWU then apply for relocation
*
Oh seems like there is RM239 1gbps SWU, thanks! I thought only up to 500mbps. Let me visit TM point soon...
My contract just ended 2 months ago.

Managed to get SWU 4.0 1gbps plan with 6 months waiver at TM Point.. New price is RM239 + SST. Subject to 2 years contract though.

Not an issue since I will relocate to a new place later with unifi availability (and unfortunately no Time fibre)

Was at RM279 + SST price.
