Have any one of you change your chain belt? So anxiously to see it. Btw how to know when is best time to change it

timing chain belt can last abt 100,000km or less lo..

i tested to apply some cream, it will make the seat oily only... and always use ur pants to "wipe" it... 
u can slightly see the chain belt in the picture...


according to some forum regarding chain belt, they said it can last until we do overhaul on engine, or maybe 250,000km, or 200,000KM or until it got sound?

i think 100,000km interval is for rubber timing belt...

timing chain can last very long if comapre with rubber timing belt

i went to Perodua Service Centre at Keramat area near Texas Instrument just now.  I ask for service they say leave your car here and take it tomorrow evening.  then i ask 2nd question "if i sent my car here, how much it would cost? here's my 1k milage free service reciept"
This woman replied.  RM30 service labour charge is free, but u need to change engine oil and filter which comes to RM150.    

I was shocked with the figure she mentioned and asked again another q
"What is your engine oil anyway? Fully synthetic?"
She was space out a bit and then answered
"Umm. semi-synthetic, petronas"    

What the heck??? semi engine oil that expensive??? u got to be kidding me... i left the service centre right away.
i went back to my old satria mechanic and ask the same question. oh it's just RM58 for engine oil and RM20 for genuine oil filter..

rm58 for the semi sync and 20 for genuine oil filter.
whats the oil and the rating?
just expansive a little bit only.

im using 205/45 16inch k-speed
but i plan to change to 195/50 liao...

Which brand tyre you are currently using? 195/50, think Goodyear has it..
