emm... personally i prefer to sign up service at maxis centre only.. prefer not to go thru third party.. particularly involving the handling of IC.

rm25 - 60gb is really real cheap already...
inflation cause all things to be ex by a lot than before, but only telco cost is cheaper by a lot than before...

hotlink rm25 - 60gb is better deal than celcomdigi kuning - rm25 - 40gb... although 40gb is more than sufficient for me... but given that overall hotlink is still better, i think i will still switch to hotlink...Β  tongue.gif
*
Hotlink 60gb is really cheap, 30GB(4G/5G) + 30GB(5G) with hotspot, unlimited calls, WTA:
How many gb of hotspot?
If using 4G phone, only can use 30GB?

hotspot is unlimited for rm25 hotlink plan.. so it is even better than celcomdigi kuning..

yes, if ur phone is only 4GB then 30GB...

but seriously nowadays still have 4G only phone that one is using?  blink.gif
*
2 yo phone, may be time to upgrade if want to port to this hotlink plan.
Does this mean that if the 30GB(4G/5G) is fully used up, there is no more access in a strictly 4G area cos it cant use the 30(5G) quota?

Meanwhile in SG:

The latest to jump on this trend is M1, whose Maxx plan offers 290GB of data for use in Singapore and Malaysia for a record low of S$7.90 (US$6.16) a month. The plan also includes 10GB of mobile data for use in Indonesia, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Thailand and Taiwan.

This follows the January launch of Simba Telecom’s S$10 monthly SuperRoam 10 plan that provides 300GB of 5G data that can be used in Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong. A separate 12GB of roaming mobile data for seven other Asian destinations is included in the same plan.

Singapore’s virtual telco Circles.Life started the borderless trend here in September 2023, when it let customers use 100GB across eight Asian destinations (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh). The monthly plan costs S$30 for the first three months, and S$37 after that.

Fabian Sossa, vice-president of corporate and global marketing at Circles.Life, said: β€œThe plan is designed for mobile professionals, digital nomads, students, tourists and families with cross-border ties... essentially anyone who needs connectivity across multiple countries without friction.”

Since then, other telcos have followed suit. While most of these plans today cover connectivity in Malaysia, others also include popular Asian destinations like Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

How can I change to 5GNX25 shown below?
Must go to service center to change plan to CelcomDigi Kuning first then subscribe to 5GNX25 there n then?

If only smartphone usage then it's a good choice. If you have smart tv, computers, smart appliances like aircond etc, better to invest in buying a good 5G modem should you want to ditch fibre.
*
Mostly smartphone, occasional using web-based/banking application, browsing on laptop. No smart TV or appliances.
With 5GB modem need another 5GNX35 SIM right, 5G modem support smart appliances too?

Depending on usage... if wanna play online games the latency will kill you even with 5G. Especially late night when all the young fellas downloading and playing game.

If usage is netflix and chill then yes good idea.
*
Occasionally play mobile games, any latency problem?
