QUOTE(azrash @ Sep 27 2024, 09:21 PM) Weird. I just got my Celcomdigi prepaid kuning eSIM at Digi Store Setapak Sentral a week plus ago. It was very quick, just need IC and number and they show the QR code on their tablet and I can use it immediately I ported from another provider, they gave me a physical SIM. Once it's ported (next day), I came back and got the eSIM conversion. No charge Dunnolah. I'll try a different Digi Store next, maybe Gardens.

QUOTE(OKLY @ Sep 28 2024, 11:41 PM) I just got an eSIM replacement for my prepaid this afternoon at a Digi Store Express. My guess is that those store are trying to earn that RM10 fee by “forcing” a physical SIM. What the heck. The store I went to was Digi Store in C180, Cheras Selatan. Supposedly a full fledged Digi Store, not a dealer. In fact, the same store where I first converted my SIM to eSIM 2 yrs ago and where I've done prepaid ownership transfers before.

Thanks guys azrash OKLY RallyNight westlife YoungMan
Just now I went to Digi Express (dealer) in PJ State. 5 mins done. FOC some more. I topup some of my numbers there to say thank you.
Dunno what got into Digi Store Cheras Selatan. Waste my time and RM10. Later will send a strongly worded email to Digi about this.
Last time I always advise to go Digi Store instead of Digi Express because dealer always want something. No idea what is going on now. Maybe that Cheras Selatan Digi Store KPI not met and only few a more days to end of month.

QUOTE(LA773 @ Oct 2 2024, 12:07 PM) Sifus, the new celcomdigi prepaid apps, must log in using otp everytime we wana login? Previously it was not like this. Just started happening to mine... Anyway to turn back to always login like before? 😁 Is there a new Celcomdigi Prepaid app? Using MyDigi app here, no problem. Occasionally will prompt to re-login again. Maybe once every few weeks.

QUOTE(Syok Your Mom @ Nov 29 2024, 09:24 AM) Is it true nowadays no more reload rm30 can get rm6 free credit after 2 days ? Cos I saw digi write only free 500mb, no more the rm6 free credit. Still got but only when offer appears in BoS. Just topped up 100+5 for one number. A few weeks ago same number got 100+20. Seems to come in alternate months. QUOTE(TongCN @ Dec 4 2024, 08:36 AM) Paying for Apple App Store, Google Play Store or Microsoft with prepaid balance. Previously the "Free Credit Promo" from BoS topups will also be used. (Last observed 6/11 with Apple One Premier.) This month it didn't. Buying Krispy Kreme vouchers also didn't use it.

QUOTE(westlife @ Jan 4 2025, 09:34 PM) for digi prepaid, good thing is that the validity will be renewed if u buy a valid plan also... meaning ur main account let's say with rm30 balance inside but account validity is going to expire on 4 Jan 2025. even u dun reload to extend the validity, u just buy a valid plan today e.g. rm25 monthly plan, the validity will be renewed for another 1 month one. This is the "Always Active" feature. Didn't work anymore for me. I topped up RM100 (120 days validity). Plan is RM10 monthly. First 4 mths OK, 5th month, no longer auto renews. Asked Digi CS, they saw bcos validity expired. Using Digi Prepaid Live. This post has been edited by soonwai: Jan 5 2025, 01:42 AM

QUOTE(Piers @ Jan 5 2025, 11:50 PM) one of celcomdigi express store i went wanted rm20 cash for an esim… somewhere things are getting out of hand now 🙊 When I got a new phone a few months ago, I went to Digi Store C180 to convert/transfer the existing eSIM to the new phone. They told me prepaid cannot, only Postpaid can have eSIM. Very strange since this is the same store where I got my eSIM for free 3 yrs ago. Ended up paying RM10 for a SIM card. New policy since the merger, they said. 2 days later, randomly dropped by Digi Express PJ State(dealer) and converted that 2-day old SIM card to eSIM for free. QUOTE(Piers @ Jan 6 2025, 02:29 AM) after such confusion i did call celcomdigi hotline for clarification, kiosk sim replacements rm10 is legit, esim is foc period! collecting cash without official mail or receipt for customer means someone is corrupting (masuk pocket) at the front end 🙊 🙈 Mine got official emailed receipt. Digi Store mah. But dunno why tell me prepaid cannot have eSim. So maybe prepaid if want to transfer eSIM, cannot, need to change to SIM card (RM10) then convert back to eSIM (foc.)

QUOTE(westlife @ Jan 6 2025, 10:18 PM) Dun understand, u are on postpaid and request to convert to prepaid or what? Prepaid all the way. eSIM on old phone want to transfer to new phone. Digi Store C180 say cannot "only Postpaid can have eSIM" and gave me a SIM card for RM10. 2 days later, go Digi dealer PJ State, no problem, change the SIM card to eSIM, FOC. 3 years ago, same Digi Store C180 changed for me SIM card to eSIM FOC. QUOTE(westlife @ Jan 6 2025, 11:19 PM) new prepaid for digi indeed must be physical sim first. then like u said, subsequently only can convert to esim. If completely new to digi and sign up a prepaid, maybe need to pay this is common Becos need to buy starter sim pack. whether is it rm10 then I am not so sure. If port in from other telco to new digi prepaid, it is FREE, even for the physical sim given. I had done this recently only. And once no ported over, can go to change to eSIM. And again it is also FREE. Mine is not new prepaid. It's old prepaid, old phone to old prepaid, new phone. Other than that, correct. Same experience here. Port in from Maxis to Digi Prepaid, free SIM. Have done that for 2 numbers. Thus far, Digi prepaid SIM to eSIM, also free. Have done this twice as well. Only thing unsuccessful so far is eSIM from one phone to eSIM on another phone. Will have to test again in a few years time. This post has been edited by soonwai: Jan 7 2025, 12:08 AM

QUOTE(westlife @ Jan 7 2025, 01:04 AM) u mean ur prepaid is now from eSIM of one phone to another phone eSIM so rm10? No, eSim to eSim, Digi Store say cannot. Actually they said prepaid no more eSim. So... ...eSim to SIM, RM10. After 2 nights sleep and go PJ State. SIM to eSim, foc. Digi dealer, not Digi Store. So ultimately yes, RM10 for eSim ...>>...>>S>..I>>>M>.>.>P>....J>...> eSim
