Break in is different.

Ur insurance will ask you to surrender your both fobs or car keys (usually in pairs). So If you fail to give even one, Ur insurance will take note and further investigate. They might even conclude you willingly give Ur key away so the onus is on you to prove.

how about when you send your car to repair/service? you have to pass the keys to the service agent and they force you to sit in the room only.

everytime i go JB for car wash i just stay inside the car and never pass my key to the staff

If authorised service center, chances of getting it stolen is low because your car agent is the same guy who takes the car from you and he knows you. SC will usually compensate as they have their own insurance to cover. And they won't risk their reputation especially dealing with own brand. Agent will probably gets terminated.

Besides they are the same SC who also renew your insurance such as Honda HIP. You can always sue SC back and if you can prove their negligence, you will be compensated.

how about those repair shop that repair cars after an accident? 

Wait inside the car is okay but makes sure engine is off, don't keep the engine running the entire shop will have your exhaust flume is a unpleasant for other customers and workers

Just change car plate enough dy. No need to fake the road tax sticker as it had gone digital.

Change car plate, then can park it anywhere. Nobody can tell its fake plate or not, since no road tax on display to compare the plate number.

Tipu apa? You can report loss car and as long as police finds no foul plays and give u keputusan cannot find, you can proceed with insurance claim. Whether or not insurance wanna let you claim, that is between u and insurance. What da hell does it involve police pulak? Police only there to find missing car.

Probably you are lucky, but doesn't mean your next claim will be like this. So many factor involves. Your is only one incident. Try asking your insurance agent la dei. 🤦

Once ot twice no issue to claim. If many times insurer will check for fraud and blacklist u will never able to buy any more insurance after that.

Follow the procedure and it will be long. If first time claim loss car due to theft, I dont think insurance will suspect foul plays.  If multiple claims under same car owner, then of course will raise suspicion.

Just follow the procedures, report police wait keputusan. Then submit claim... Then nego with insurance. The world is different now. Of course insurance can reject you but you can also bring them to court and ask them to prove it.
