I'm personally using the rain pants and rain jacket from decathlon and they're the best that I've ever used.
Thin, breathable, cheap and doesn't leak. I have other thicker more expensive raincoat but theyre really really hot feels like a sauna.
The pants are like rm50-ish so cheap to try. Also you might try those raised seat cover, they channel water away and avoid water collecting underneath the seat.
