Could anyone recommend are any good reasonably priced rain pants?

I have a rain coat but the pants that comes with it sprung a leak or something. I get wet at the bottom all the time. tongue.gif

itll be cheaper to buy a new rain suit terus like from givi or hevik etc riding pants (waterproof or not) aint cheap.

but if u insist on a waterproof & breathable riding pants...alpinestars has 1 model thats RM899 and another at RM1099...available at bikeworld...kepong branch tend to have weekend sales so watch out for whats on sale on their fb page.

Clover has one at rm1k... bikequest is the shop u wanna go to.

i have the 1099 one (andes V3 is the model iinm) and just tested it..works great.

also, without rain coat, water will still get in and wet ur undies. with raincoat can still happen but lesser.

If your bike has fairing and windshield, do try the rain pants from decathlon.

I'm personally using the rain pants and rain jacket from decathlon and they're the best that I've ever used.
Thin, breathable, cheap and doesn't leak. I have other thicker more expensive raincoat but theyre really really hot feels like a sauna.

The pants are like rm50-ish so cheap to try. Also you might try those raised seat cover, they channel water away and avoid water collecting underneath the seat.

Had a few raincoat, basically all are a ok. Fed up with wet shoes(non waterproof shoes), got fm Shopee about rm110 raincoat with build in pants foot cover shoes. Tested on very heavy rain, with car splashes here and there, reach home, socks are dry.

Buy from decathlon. 299 per piece. But, you have to treat the fabric regularly. Waterproof fabric spray can buy from ace hardware.

You can buy Givi pants separately. Was good until I ripped it in a fall during one if my off road excursion. (Made the mistake of going off-road up a hill in heavy downpour) I think it was around 60 after discounts.

The crotch area is a common failure point. Try to find rain pants (or as a set) that is properly cut and gusseted...meaning the crotch area is one big piece instead of a central crotch seam.

My Benkia premium set is holding up well after 2 years (I think it sells for about 230 a set before discounts, at Serdang motorsports)... Compared to my first "arai" el cheapo shopee set that lasted all of 3 use. Some even have boot covers built in if you are not using waterproof boots. If you are looking for Benkia, just go to Serdang and test it for size, then order from Lazada or shopee when on sale. I ordered mine at shopee but got a too big a size, went to the shop and exchanged it.

Thing about decathlon rain gear is they are not cut for motocycling. Meaning lengths and clearances may not be suitable when you are sitting on a bike.

I keep a complete change of clothes in the office.

No rainsuit below RM300 I know is completely waterproof when riding in heavy rain. It only keeps the worst off you.

Just treat rain suit like a wear and tear part.. replace it every year..

Last time I use to buy GIVI brand, but recently change to FOXDRY as my friend recommend it..
So far no leak ride across 30minute heavy rain.. plus my bike already install big windshield..

I used to do this too.
That include a pack of disposable underwear as well.
