I wanna add a budget (maybe around rm350 - rm400) android player installed for my cheap ride. Anyone got experience or recommendations? Somewhere around KV area....Damansara, PJ, puchong etc...

Levih kurang sama just find at least 4GB ram minimum., prefer 8GB. Those sampah 2GB don't touch it with even ur life depends on it.

i was using some budget android before this.
other than sound quality lousy, i noticed these two issues

1. volume level is not gradual. at certain level, let's say level 4 to level 5, the volume jump so much

2. equalizer - doesn't "hold" the db level you set for certain frequencies. most noticible is the bass level, example 60hz. when you set it at let's say 3db. got bass. after a while the bass like hilang. you open back the equalizer, re-adjust the 60hz level, bass come back.

I use ts10 4+32 now more than 2 years already still kicking and snappy responsive. Just use for carplay, start engine terus auto connect

Consider this.

Dont cincai waste ur hard earn money.

You need to know what you want from it first
If you only want Bluetooth and low in budget, just install a single din player with Bluetooth
If you need Android auto and equivalent ..you better up your budget

i thought of getting those branded ones such as pionneer or kenwood.

no need , just a phone with BT and BT speaker

ayam use single din chinabeng player. cheap and gets the job done. works perfectly with bluetooth .

its either go very cheap or go very big. not much in between stuff. cheap stuff android player sure no good one

nvm as my next car will find one with true Android auto/carplay

yes if budget more than 2k can go for those brand, mine just want 360 camera and fast carplay features so both of them just 1.6k the time i install

if just want for Carplay/ android auto, linux will be sufficient?

Thanks for the advices. This is just an old car which comes with touch screen and bose sound system. No bluetooth though. Overall, the sound is not too bad but I'm thinking of using android player for easy bluetooth connectivity as well as Waze or googlemap.

You will need to consider whether there is aftermarket bracket cover for your old car, if the new player size is different.

Yes agreed with u.. dont waste money. TS should buy android player 7862S.. i bought from shopeeee. Around 700
