I already expected that we will lose last game when the lineup was released and I saw Rashford's name and no Hojlund.

Midfield got bullied by opponent. Defense was slow. Rashford up top as a striker doesn't work. He doesn't know how to position and play himself as a striker.

Better campak McTom as striker than Rashford. The first time Forest GK made mistakes and push him to fight for the ball, he should've thrown himself to the ground to get a penalty.

It is a clear and blatant push, but Rashford didn't have the mind to take advantage of it. Haih..

Erikssen and Fernandes cannot play together. Proven again this time. McTom replacing Mainoo made the condition worst. Should've bring out Erikssen for McTom instead.

Evans and Varane as defense made it worse. Both lack speed and often exposed by the lack of midfield cover.

I will say this time, the fault is on ETH tactics. But his selection was quite limited. Since we have so many in the injury list + sidelined for personal issues.

Too many first team players out. Not easy for anyone to make a performing team with this kind of issues.

And there's the virus issue as well. Ownership and management issue of the club is still to be fixed.

For me, I'll wait for the new management to start working before calling for ETH to be sacked.

If the new management give him the full support and he still failed to turn this team around, then by all means he need to be sacked.

Full support means including removing all the viruses in the locker room. Not just buying new players.

My point was Bruno & Erikssen is almost the same type of player. They both are alike. Think of Erikssen as a direct replacement for Bruno.

This causes clash in the midfield when they played together in which both of them try to accommodate each other but ended up causing more problems.

Bruno thrives when he doesn't need to worry about the backline. That is why when Casemiro was fit, we were playing better.

We need a good DMF and another midfielder that can play a bit deeper to support Bruno.

Come to think of it. Mount is also the same type as Bruno and Erikssen.

If Mount can stay fit and injury free, he can take over Bruno's role in 1-2 years.

Best if we can get another Carrick and Casemiro type to play in the mid.

Is Mainoo good enough to be one of them? I guess time will tell. So far he got the potential.

Another victim of injury in the club. And he's on high wages too. 340k per week.

Evans is only one year contract right?

Meaning we will lose at least 2 defenders in the summer.

Unless the club is crazy enough to give new contract to Evans.

Maguire until 2026. 186k per week.

Lindelof until 2025. 120k per week.

Licha until 2027. 120k per week.

Man we overpaid so much for Maguire. And long contract too.

Either way, it falls on ETH. If it is his instructions, then it is a poor instructions.

If players not following instructions, it is his fault for not being more stern on the players.

Hojlund plays and provide better chances than both the wingers and Bruno.

Hojlund, the hardest working striker to get a goal in the league.

ETH need to be more stern and start disciplining those who didn't want to give ball to him.

Like what Fergie did when RVP arrived at our club.

I understand occasionally you have chance to shoot and you take it.

But now almost every time they try to shoot instead of serving Hojlund. Wasted so many chances.

Read it back properly. Even if I was comparing, its between Fergie & ETH style. Not RVP and Hojlund.
