I will call Martial as Marsial from now on. The striker who don't know how to play in the box.

We are playing as if Hojlund is the striker. Crossing in to the box but no one to receive it. Marsial doesn't play high ball nor goes in to the box. What a waste.

Marsial shouldn't start the 2nd half. If he still start then GG this match.

QUOTE(KennRicky @ Dec 9 2023, 11:53 PM) I don't understand, he is one of the slightly better performer. Am I watching a different Marsial? He didn't track back and defend. When the ball at the wing, he doesn't know where to position himself. He either stay to the left, and let other player goes to the center of the box or stays outside of the box. He slipped once while running alone with the ball without any pressure. And near end just now, loose the ball and doesn't want to chase it back even though the ball is close and just let it go to Bournemouth player. It is Shaw and Reguilon, and McTom that played bad. Shaw keep passing back to Onana when opponent player is pressing Onana. Somemore pass to Onana left side while he is right footed. Reguilon is hardworking but final crossing is lousy. McTom, u know la. Beside failing to pressure Solanke for the first goal, Maguire plays well but he sometimes slow the attack too much. |

Is this still ETH fault? Or there is something more behind it? How come each full time managers that we have post Moyes, will lose control of the dressing room starting from the 2nd season? LVG, Mou, Ole and now ETH. LVG won FA Cup and bring us back CL. Then got sacked. But LVG had it coming by playing boring football. And this is when Lingard, Martial & Rashford started to be the regulars to the first team. Next is Mou, Europa League, EFL, Community Shield and back to CL again. Then got sacked as well. This time the trio is joined by Pogba. Then Ole. The Mr Good Guy manager. Finishing 3rd and 2nd in the league. Clueless most of the time but have Fernandes to save his behind. Then got sacked after being exposed as tactically inept. Pogba and Lingard released. Then RR as interim. Long story short. Never had the hold of the dressing room. Player did not respect him as they knew he won't stay long. Next is ETH turn. Managed to finish top 3. Have to deal with CR7 that causes divide among fans. Rashford & Martial still with the team. Now into the 2nd season, the story of losing the dressing room have surfaced again. We can see some players doesn't play wholeheartedly under him. Injury list piling up doesn't really help. And the ongoing "takeover" process also have impact on the team. It is a known secret that the current and soon to be previous management team is incompetent. LVG, Mou and RR all said the same thing. And they always sided with the players and throw the managers under the bus when things goes south. So currently, I am not sure, was it ETH being stubborn on purpose, tactically incompetent OR player power is creeping in the club again. Without the management support, player power will always be the biggest threat to our club. Soon, once the takeover is completed and IF it is completed, we need to see where will Sir Rat stands. If he sided the manager, then I guess heads will roll and the player power will be squashed. But if he sided with the players, then I guess this club is doomed until he changed his mind, or this club have a new owner again. |

QUOTE(aaron1717 @ Dec 13 2023, 02:57 PM) frankly speaking, after so many manager's heads roll already, i dont believe changing manager can actually change anything to the club, new manager will just give us one season of honeymoon period only to get sack the next season... we hired so many champion winning managers and they are not working well in this club, is manager the biggest issue here? but then i foresee the sacking run will continues until we hit the jackpot kot... lol We will most likely be relegated first than get a jackpot manager who can do miracle with his hands tied by the management. That is why I want to see what is SJR agenda. Is he just another rat? Or he is serious about getting this club back on track. If player power wins again, then you know what is his agenda. And we can expect more heartache and disappointment in the future. |

QUOTE(IpohGuyz @ Dec 14 2023, 10:28 AM) Player power yes but it takes 2 to tango. Manchester united is commercial club. Employees behave like one too lol. Current state, I don't blame fully on player. It's 50-50 responsibility. If you tell player to run and he don't run, means you fail to inspire as manager. Either get a youngster replace him to run or continue try inspire a broken employee. In an environment like that, you can threaten to send the players to the gulag and still the players won't perform. All because the players know that the managers have no real power. That is what its like in our club currently. Players act how they please because they can get away with it. And to add more salt to the wound, the media is pro players as well especially those with English passport. Klopp, Pep and even Fergie himself will have the same issues if the club is not backing them. |

Rashford & Martial are really sus. Now add Sancho to the mix.
And the backroom staff. Maybe that is where all the leak came from. Shaw and McTom not really. Shaw still give his best on the pitch. And McTom, well he is McTom. |
