You know what I hate? People leaving voice message on whatsapp. I don't want to listen to your message, especially if I am in an office enviroment and it would kacau orang lain. Just type the message la.

Used sparingly is fine. but when 3-4 comes at the same time.... chances are.. the first 2 are redundant

VM #1: please perform XXX and let me know what's the outcome.
VM #2: Ooh... nvm... I think better do YYY instead.
VM #3: Hmmm.. let me think (long pause)..... Better XXX la. what do you think?

(before I managed to reply)
VM #4: Let's stick with YYY instead.

Well.. there goes my 3 min trying to listen to each of 'em just to get single directive. and a complementary 5 min "wait" in case sender changed his mind again.

my firm is right smack in the middle of Bandar Puchong Jaya, not sure if you would consider that as "ulu".

Also, it's not my side of the line that I am complaining, it's the signal at the end of the caller; eg: 2 bar 3G still want to place VoIP and then because of the shitty connection, he/she usually ended up yelling for no reason and our conversations overlap from the beginning to the end.

like that happier izzit?

Eh serious 3G?

3G shut down in MY already

Hence why we have all the blind spots in coverage

3G bridged the gaps 4G and later 5G couldnt cover

If 3G was still around ppl might still place voice calls, 3G voice calls were still circuit switched , not data

also I pay RM33 for 365days activation,
and top up another RM30
if no much call, no internet, RM30 can last for the whole year

but usually internet is ~ RM18/month for 4-8GB

now latest is RM12 for 30days with 10GB

last time the best is RM11 for 8GB for 60days!!!

If phone coverage is bad and if your operator supports voice over WiFi can give it a try. You're placing your voice call using your office WiFi.

For my house perfect. So I don't need to use WA call anymore. For office dependent on the day can be good to bad. Caveat is office got lots of traffic and users to account for la. So bad days it's back to the trusty WA call in the office

The range of the human voice extends from 100 Hz to 17 kHz but traditional telephone calls limit audio frequencies to the range of 300 Hz to 3.4 kHz.

VoLTE uses Wideband transmits in the audio frequency range of 50 Hz to 7 kHz.

In addition, some wideband codecs may use a higher audio bit depth of 16 bits to encode samples, also resulting in much better voice quality

WhatsApp call uses all the human audible frequency range 20Hz - 20,000Hz = superb call quality

they are not stingy, in fact the telco's pay the building management to have their equipment installed at the premise cause you're renting space.

Instead, what happens is that people are afraid of "radiation", WiFi and mobile networks are considered non-ionizing radiation, less than 0.5% chance or harm

you are more likely to get into a traffic collision than to be harmed from WiFi and mobile networks

I do that with my team in other ASEAN countries. Saves a lot on international calls and easier for all as well. Calls are quite clear on WhatsApp
