Hahaha...

How come the list never mention the founding father himself, Lee Kuan Yew? Oh...very inconvenient fact: Lee Kuan Yew was born in Singapore.

And these ministers were led by Lee Kuan Yew! They took orders from Lee! All were followers under the guidance of the world-famous leader Lee! Lee laid the foundation of newly-independent Singapore. Subsequent Prime Ministers Goh Chok Tong and Lee Hsien Loong implemented various nation-building policies and led the transformation of Singapore to where it is today.

This list is selective at best...only talk about those born in Malaysia....if we just select Sri Lankan-born minsters who served in Singapore cabinet, then Singapore was built by the Sri Lankans!

Some of us who read the list already can feel "proud" about Singapore's success despite the state of Malaysia's current downtrodden economy and politics in shambles?

Just like the 350,000 million Malaysians who cross Causeway daily to work as labourers, security guards, F&B staff, and 1.13 million Malaysians who migrated to Singapore can claim to have "built Singapore".

Maybe can also throw in the hundreds of thousands of Indian construction workers, Filipino call centre workers and domestic helpers, mainland Chinese sales staff and waiters into the grand mix too....all are part of Singapore's phenomenal success! Majullah Singapura!
