i remember last time when i tested tplink ax10/ax20 the problem i noticed is that when loading 4k video in youtube it somehow cant autoselect 4k resolution always auto up to 2k/1440p only
im using wifi5 2x2 adapter on PC and even having the full link speed of 867mbps and speedtest no issue still have the problem...broadband speed was 100mbps...was running ap mode on top of openwrt router
because of that i vow to never use 2x2 router/access point again...must be at least 3x3 (AC1900/AC1750) which totally doesnt have the issue...even though 4k still not that mainstream not that big of an issue (just need to manually select 4k in youtube)
i wonder those with wifi6 adapter on PC do u experience the same thing?

I stopped buying commercial routers and opted to use old PC desktop with OpnSense installed. More powerful and future proof.

I’m using a ASUS 2x2. My TV loads 4K on YT and Netflix by default. The problem isn’t 2x2 but how your layout and settings are optimised.

It is common for Youtube website (and not only app) to serve lower resolution videos even when you use Ethernet cable and has high speed Internet. Just this night I watched this video in Firefox and Youtube played the 720p version with my 2.5G LAN-connected PC with TM Unifi fiber, even when I have Youtube Premium and the video has 1080p Enhanced bitrate version. You need something like this if you don't like this Youtube behavior.

Surely a 2.5Gbps LAN connection over 800Mbps Unifi beats any 3 or 4 spatial streams Wifi access point at all times. But if you have proof that Wifi AP with 3 spatial streams can beat a 2.5Gb LAN connection in LAN capacity and also latency then I am all ears.

App problem. If you use revanced, then you can set default resolution.

Have to use custom apps for mobile users or browser extensions for PC users.
