Hey all,

Would like to know if anyone has taken Creatine for their workouts or overall training.

How was it? Any improvements for bodybuilding?

Yes I am taking creative for a year plus. It only work if you are consistent. Else waste of money

Am using ON before but mahal nak mampos so I now use muscle tech
I can see difference with creatine. Muscle pump much more stronger and when I cardio less cramp and fatigue

Its almost useless, because the improvement is like 10 reps become 11 reps. Which can be attributed to placebo also.

If take creatine or not take, all other factors equal, muscle gains in 1 year should be similar in my opinion.

Ya for me it took quite some time for it to actually build the loading phase for me, if not mistaken around 1 month plus.

But realise that it did help in that extra burst of energy for workouts and generally feel better.

I'm using ON now too, now have to check out muscle tech.

I did some research and some did say that it helps with brain functions as well.

Ya they are some side health benefits.
But I am not so convinced.

I already eat a diet that's meticulously engineered to meet 100% of my micronutrition & macronutrition needs.
So I don't bother with this minor creatine/bcaa/etc things.

I just started taking creatine since 12/12.. hmm today is the third day. ON micronised creatine (green label one)
I take 5g per day, mix with protein to drink. surprisingly the 5g scoop is quite a lot for me to consume, consider that the unflavoured creatine is damn not good tasting. After drinking around 30min will feel uncomfortable for a while but ok then after around 15min
Is this normal?
I workout for 1.5 years + 4-5 times per week
Asked few gym friends they don’t have this problem and don’t feel difficult to eat

I know what you mean, when I first started taking creatine I had a weird feeling as well.

But I’ve been taking it for 2 months plus, going to 3. And now I feel pretty good and for me the creatine really does give me a boost of energy.

I believe your body is just getting used to it.

May I know are you taking 5g every day? Need to stop for some days after continuous consuming? Heard some people said no need to stop if taking only 5g per day…

I’ve been taking creatine for a year plus now.

Here are my observation
1) u need to load creatine first time like take 2 scoops for a few day and let it saturate
2) u take one scoop but ideally it should only be 2 to 3 gram only which i think is sufficient
3) you need to be consistent. Taking it alone is useless if you are not working out
4) it helps with recovery. On the days I take Protien only vs Protien and creatine, my recovery is faster with Protien and creatine
5) u need to drink a lot of water coz creatine works with water

Side effect?
None yet but heard some people loose hair but I have not observe any yet

Key for creatine to work is u need consistency and drink lots of water

Oh ya to share I used optimum nutrition creatine tablet and powder base but now I’m using muscletech platinum creatine. Cost about rm 190 for 400 gram and what I notice it’s much more micro than ON. Just worried ON texture macam sandy and worried get kidney stone

Actually u only need 2 to 3 gram. 5 grams is just too much unless you are training 110 percent every day

Cost per ratio I rather just take 2 to 3 grams only but make sure training is consistent

To be honest I just take around 2 teaspoons worth and ya I take it everyday.

For context I workout 5 times a week and I also take it on my rest days.

Don't feel anything on performance because there are way too many factors that can affect my performance (sleep, pre workout meal, mood), looks slightly buffed on mirror, prolly a placebo, but it's nothing compared to the noticeable pump after workout.

If you have stagnation, why not? But you have to commit to gain more.
