I'm not sure how it works but was told that if the energy that the solar panel generates is more than the usage for the month, meaning there is still balance or extra energy that is unused from the solar panel, it can be carried forward to next month or something like that. Is this true? Is there an "expiry" of the carry forward of this balance?

For example, for month November 2023 the solar panel produces say RM500 but you only use RM350. The balance unused RM150, will it be carried forward to December 2023, or the following month?

Surprisingly you still need to pay RM150 for electricity bill after installing the solar panel? When you wrote -RM5, I presume you don't need to pay anything for that particular month, and the -RM5 balance is carried forward to next month. Can share what capacity of solar panel you have chosen for your house. Thanks.
