turning off the switch while not using the washing machine can greater improve the lifespan of the electronic board itself.
my 15 yo Panasonic washing machine electronic board spoilt 2 years ago. it survived at least 5 floods. but end of the day spoilt due to faulty board.
luckily managed to get general substituted board from shopee.
it's been running on the board for almost 2 years.
