You guys are the lucky ones, I don't even get to have the virtual card!

I was chatting (in-app) with GX Bank CS, they say that there is no timeframe for the next batch. But when they are ready, they will do a push notification to those selected for the 2nd batch release of the GX Card. I tried to corner him to give a date, but he could not give me a definite answer. So I think those of us who are still not seeing the GX Card application link in the app will just have to wait.

I have got the link to activate the virtual debit card and I have ordered the physical card too!

My wife's GX Bank app also showed the invitation link to apply for the debit card yesterday. I put in the application (physical card) for her, both mine and hers are scheduled to be sent out by Feb 20 as per many others who have posted yesterday.

I do not think the system cares how much and how often you do transactions. Both my wife's and mine accounts have only the bare min of RM100 (plus the RM28 bonus given) inside all the while, and we got the invitation (push to us).
I think the system only goes by when you registered in rolling out the push notification.

Got the physical debit card today for my wife and myself. Activation was a breeze on app. Citylink delivered these like the Posman!

I got mine as well, scanned and duitnow RM1 to my wife's TnG successfully.

Unless your debit card or credit card is tied to Union Pay, I will not rely on it for making payments in China. Load up your TouchnGo, it is affiliated with AliPay and you should have no issue paying with it, however a lot of small traders only accept WeChat Pay which non-China mobile users cannot register for the China version. Even beggars in China has a WeChat QR display!
