Kesian the dashboard and cup holder design area is not very nice....
But nice engine...

RM 40,000 around can get 2016 Proton Perdana 2.0L

Carlist still can found little on sale
*
Never driven the 2.0 but 2.4 feel omphh that said 40k for a D segment relatively nice and reliable car is good.

Depend on maintainence is C segment bit old. Suspension very nice if you get one in good condition its a good buy. Me would opt for manual even though notchy gb .

Won't say interior more premium but more spacious certainly . Soundproofing think S70 better. But inspira ride quality more comfortable.

This car is also considered a legend—a rebadged Mitsubishi Lancer.

I’ve seen many second-hand Proton Inspira listings on Carlist where the steering wheel and exterior logo have already been modified to Mitsubishi branding.

Guarantee most condition like crap la. Not because car bad but one thing is used car if price fall below certain level if n^th user will attract certain kind of buyers. Most of the buyers are gaya type and don't maintain car . Deswai even a 20 year old 5 series will look like some cheap beater because the way the new owners maintain cz truth be told those who buy used most don't have the money to maintain so high chances u will get junk. If true car enthusiast will try jaga but used car normally after one point even car enthusiast will question if worth throwing money on a money pit.

got rebates by Honda Malaysia, but if u rajin search many SA postings, they also throw in their rebates. so in the end, HM rebates + SA rebates. Civic rebates all at 5 figures no now.

Tyre R, not check cz will never buy that.

the Perdana both in 2.0 or 2.4, exterior wise still look decent at current time. but the interior meanwhile, just outdated. 2.0 lose electronic stability control (ESC), so if buy, better take 2.4.

Pada Januari 2025, PROTON mendahului pasaran kenderaan elektrik (EV) di Malaysia dengan penghantaran 421 unit Proton e.MAS 7, sekali gus menguasai 25% pasaran EV nasional.

Walaupun jumlah volum industri (TIV) merosot 38.7% berbanding Disember 2024, PROTON tetap mencatatkan jualan kukuh sebanyak 9,914 unit, dengan penguasaan pasaran 19.7%, satu peningkatan berbanding tahun sebelumnya.

Seems like the Proton e.MAS 7 is selling very well.

Percentage is such a misleading way to see things. Its just for tabloid headlines. This month 1 unit next month 2 units sold means 100% increase, padahal only 2 units sold.

not great. Even X70 with facelifted quite recently lost sales to many rivals and new rivals. inb4 many disappointed with x70 facelift cz not the same as Boyue Pro Facelift Boyue
S70 sales have been poor. Geely should sack the Proton Sales Head Marketing then.
Last time kinda ratio of 1:3 for Proton vs P2, now was even more.

In January 2025, there was a big difference in sales between the Toyota Vios and the Honda City.

Could this be due to the Chinese New Year discount effect?

this should be the Marketing Dept to work out, see rivals give rebates for CNY, then why not do it the same?

Guys, I just bought new proton S70 flagship x model..

Anyone knows how to change the LED lights?

When i opened the bonnet, i am shocked to find that there are no screw caps for the LED lights, means proton don't allow users to change the LED lights?

I already bought the NOVSIGHT N60 HB3 LED lights 50,000 lumens but I cant seem to open the screw caps.

Anyone knows how to change the LED lights?

I search all over in you tube and even in manual books and in forums, seems like there are no one discussing on this issue.

Please help,
thanks

Its a great car. but real buyer at this segment really prioritize fuel economy and dont bother about power. thats why vios and city sales is higher than s70.

majority people dont even care about power. if not, vios and city sales advisor really makan pasir, as s70 performance is quite far compare to vios and city. on youtube, car easily break 200kmh, while vios and city struggle above 160kmh
