Hi. Looking at this for my next car probably next year. Any comment on the fuel consumption? Since expect petrol to go up soon, i hope to get something that doesn't drink petrol like my current Saga

Geely engines not known to be fuel sippers.

But damn, the powah on tap is awesome.

Want to jimat fuel, gotta get Jipunis like City or Vios or P2.

Fixed. Buy car with NA engine + CVT gb for better FC. Drive poor feeling with CVT plus once hit high mileage standby rm6k above for repair outside once belt burst

Is the S70 better than that?

Dunno.

My X70 (1.8T 6 speed older GB) getting 12.52 L/100km town driving (short distances daily, PJ - Bangsar - PJ daily, based on 3 years data). Outstation 10.5 L/100km (KL - Ipoh - KL day trip, incl Ipoh town driving) mostly 120-140 on highway.

Bear in mind this SUV is 1.7 tons weight.

S70 about +-10L/100km , 100% city drive.

Long distance surely jimat.

Why was he suspended by the admin?

Has the Proton S70 reached 2,000 units in monthly sales yet?

Last year, top management stated that this was their target.

may not be every month but certain month does hit

I find the Geely car fuel indicator L/100km is inaccurate vs manual calculation, on x70 CKD. Usually gotten 8.5L/100km but manual calculation about 9.5L/100km even drove it to last 20km range. Thats my find out

believe me. 90% people comparing FC just selective ignore proton X series weight.
thats why you will found some nuts comment 'my xx years xxx car better than this x50/x70.'
they comparing maybe 30% less weight, and almost 50% less bhp/torque car to proton....

Toyota brand sell

Even with UMW negative modifier

S70 pack great value, and those hater aren't not target customers anyway

We B40 better get burukdua...

If Cheri got B and C sedan, then will force Proton to drive price down.

This model direct compete with perodua models.
