normally i don't insure my windscreen of my 10 year old car, but for this year I want to insure and if coincidently i happen to claim on windscreen damage, will the insurance company approve or they will not?

All my vehicle have windscreen insurance, only spider mark, windscreen guy use tools make it bigger with crack easy take photo as a prove Tldr windscreen guy is your friend insurance no,

common practice all renewed insurance 3 months later only make a claim or claims before renewals that what i being told for the last 30 year now i mostly renew online visit physical windscreen by my self without interact with agent anymore .

insurance company prioritize BEFORE you purchase...not after
it's when u add-on windscreen protection(when you renew insurance), they either just let u or ask u for additional proof to support or call CS for verification

but once it's approved(added), anytime u claim windscreen...it will be approved

most cb one is without windscreen coverage, 3 weeks sudah crack. now with windscreen coverage, already 3 years no crack. cb betul.

paid coverage for 10 years, and think back, alamak can buy a new windscreen ady haha.
but anyway, buy for peace of mind, dont think it too much.

Haiz this still okay lah, me today replace windshield 3 days later a truck pass by rock on the road fly to my windshield have 2 chip crack make me so speechless just drive and forget about it.

Now still stick with beerjaya sompro insurance maybe next time.

That depends on the cost for authoriser (original) windscreen replacement cost. Like one of mine, the replacement cost is close to 10k lol so that's like 1.5k premium.

Once you have coverage, it will be approved. Just that you didn't buy all this while, they will want to make sure that its not already broken. Probably will ask you to take a photo with todays paper in the same photo

If the windscreen is broken, just buy the insurance for it online. Insurance companies usually don't ask for proof. Once successful, wait like 2-3 weeks then claim. The shop will make the crack bigger, issue the invoice and pictures as proof. U then submit the claim and wait about a month.

If no windscreen add-on thn we're in a gray area

And I successfully add-on and claim afterwards
But of course my crack is bearable and I got lucky with the insurer
