They really now "divide" Genting into 2 parts.... the "lower end" and "high end".

Those who want to stay and relax (makan and shopping) would be at the lower end area (Genting Permai & Gohtong Jaya + new developments around it). For those who want gambling and entertainment, they will take the "high end" part (Genting peak + Awana).

Looking at where the toll position is, I would say.... yes (to a certain extend). Both GPA and Awana (+ cable car) are after the "toll".

If not mistaken, there would be another "GPO" at the tail end of Genting Permai there to cater for those who don't want to shop at the "high end". But for those who still want go to GPO or Sky Avenue for shopping, there are free(?) shuttle busses to the cable car area.....

You can't - for the simple reason of safety. Putting a toll while going downhill is very dangerous - one vehicle "tak makan brake", and disaster happens. Just see why the Jelapang toll had to be relocated further down the road.
