why not use TnG?

Sometimes happens to me. I drop a message to my banks customer service and try again and it works

The last time it happened was prior to using it on steam I made an overseas purchase that didn't require a cvc. That might have raised some flags with the bank and they blocked my steam

Credit card companies own loss only. People will just switch to Shopee Pay or TnG to avoid this kind of hassle.

Nothing new. Some of my credit cards won't work with steam. Long ago, have to call up to get approve for Steam use.

Nowadays just use TnG e-wallet. Easy.

Too many fraud using steam

I selected TnG and it says Steam wallet too low. How to use TnG to buy the Steam Wallet? Can't find Steam option in TnG app.

Happened to me once or twice using CIMB before, called them and they'd manually lift the ban of steam for your account. Not much of a hassle.

You’ll need to activate your card once in a while by calling them banks

because there are too many scam of malaysian CC on steam

not our fault but many cases of russian hacker using malaysian CC to purchase things on steam

I always use TnG nowadays. CC always block for some reasons and I am tired of it.

Never ever happened to around 40 purchases on steam.

my best bet is a lot of CBK buy shit on steam, realized they overspent, requested chargeback or claimed that the charge was fraudulent.

so the banks got dulan, block steam directly.

Nothing to do with balance. Credit card all block (HSBC, Citibank/UOB, PB) because so much fraud on Steam.

Each time want to re-new same monthly subscription also have call them. End up tell them anything RM100 please let pass and I will be liable for it but still kenot. End up now use Touch & Go. Recently they added GrabPay too? Last thing purchased with Grab wallet, at least no charge if topup and saved card in it already since don't trust save card in t&G.

too many fraud from steam and steam as of now don't support 3d secure
you need to call bank to temporary to unblock steam 1-3 days
then pay using your credit card, but with one risk, if there's fraud within that period
your bank won't be responsible for it

or pay using other method like paypal or tng

They most likely reset permission la, the banks are constantly blocking purchase transaction especially 3rd party company since fraud became super active. Cause they now expect you to log in to your own bank website and allow it digitally to complete the deal.

My first credit card fraud happened on steam and then iTunes

Dude, did you topup your tng? Make sure you have balance in there. Once done just added to your wallet and scan there. So simple and easy lol…

And you dont have to pay that stupid extra rm13

I have over 1k in go+. Do I need to transfer back to the normal ewallet? Too mafan and expensive. I call bank settled liau.
