Just wondering what are the things yall personally aware that the throttle cable need to be changed.

I am using pcx and wondering what are the things (not in manual) that need to be look out for.

Also how long before a brake/throttle cable need to be changed.

Throttle/clutch cables are wear items. So periodic inspections are required and they will benefit from lubing as well. If you find your cables needing adjustment, it is time to take a real close look for any signs of wear.

I have yet to see a throttle cable break but clutch cables breaks do happen at higher frequencies. Mine lasted about 40k before needed a replacement due to fraying.
