ive been driving it for 1 week.
theres something that i like and something that i dont like.
im came from persona. so my view might not be the same compared /k standard 20k/month salary that usually drive lexus or sunset orange.
exterior wise, a very handsome car in every angle. front projector lamp makes it feel like a much expansive car when driving at night. think mazda 3.
outer door handle with push to unlock is a missed opportunity.
remote start is a plus.
i dont like the UI in the infotainment screen. wish it came with aacp. dont know the reason why it came with atlas store app which in a opinion, a bloatware with no function aside from boosting their company's fragile ego. digital speedometer is also a miss. the UI decision makes the fuel gauge harder to read. not sure why they even bother to let us customise it. doesnt seem al that different to me. in short, atlas sucks balls. 1gb/m data is a joke. i only got 1 good thing to say regarding the infotainment unit. spotify. they can throw joox in a trashcan. i dont care about it.
engine wise its just fine. if you are pedal happy kind of person such as me, expect to see the spike on fuel usage. when you need it to be fast, it could be very fast albeit the slight but noticeable turbo delay when you decided to floor it.
icc is such a new thing to me, very impressive when i see it working myself. very practical in usage. the 10k difference between premium and flagship certainly is not just paying for gimmick. genuinely useful when theres slow traffic and you just want a temporary breather.
im not sure if i like the auto hold function. it feels okay when stopping at traffic light but when you are stopping at junction i suggest just turn it off. it doesnt like sudden acceleration especially when you need to cross the heavy traffic.
feel like beating dead horse here but the suspension is really soft and comfy when you are riding past the bumb, even higher than average bump but im sure you already heard it from yt reviewers.
in conclusion, perfectly capable car surpassing the likes of vios and city and maybe altis. if you can look past its quirkiness. not sure about mazda 2 and almera.
edit. voice control is also a missed opportunity. would be better if i can actually access sports mode via voice activation. instead i need to swipe down the touch screen and find the botton. if you are going to integrate the functionality anyway, why dont you just go all in? thats why i dont like atlas, they put priority on the shit that doesnt matter. make me feel like batman not a fucking pleb.
