 Digi: Unable to call philippines after change phon

Using the old phone was alright, but when i switched to a Xiaomi phone, it keeps saying call forwarding active.

What is the problem?

Are you calling direct or using a callback service?

Alright, does the call connect at all and you hear some tones or announcement, or you just get a message about Call Forwarding Active displayed?

Call forwarding only affects incoming calls, so I don't think that's relevant.

And if you are using two sims, make sure you are calling from the intended one.

Problem still not solved. I used my wife phone, cannot call. I use my phone same problem. I transferred her sim to my phone, same problem.

There will be a message something like "call forwarded". If connect, then it seems to go to a call center i.e. can hear other people talking. What is happening, anybody pls help

Press Calling accounts.
Press Call-forwarding settings.
Press the required divert type.
Press Turn off ..

do a test call to another country if possible .. just to see the result

also ##21# then press CALL to deactivate Call-Forwarding for DiGi

oh, now I understand .. if u call them then got msg "Call Forwarded" means the recepient phone is SWITCHED OFF, therecepient phone is diverting ure call to voicemail ..

use another phone number to call there see if got Call Forwarded or not ..

All her Philippines family phone got the problem. Used to be working but dunno now what happened.

BTW most of her family older people, dunno how to turn on call forwarding. Just answer , make call only. Some dun even have whatsapp....

Also whatsapp call is working but like i said not all of them have whatsapp

This sounds like an issue on the other side. The calls are not reaching the recipient's device, hence forwarded to Not Reachable type of announcement. Normally, you cannot deactivate such forwarding.

They may be using non-VoLTE device and having issue same as some face here in Malaysia since 3G shut down.

Ask your callers if they can go to a strong signal place outdoors where there is less people. The Philippines is densely populated so quite a tough environment for delivering old school mobile phone calls.
