I dunno about you guys but i guger when it comes to this. The first video i saw somewhat validates some facts mentioned by the guy.

You can see the traditional coffee roasting machine. THERE IS LARD. But it is used as a lubricant for the spinning shaft and the roasting barrel door. (Ok this part already made it non halal).
They also used this specific butter to roast the beans. But no idea if it is halal or not. They also used salt.

Then after dunking the beans out onto a burlap sheet, they sprinkle rice wine on it.
So maybe cross contamination from the lard into the bean will happen as the lard will seep a little through the barrel door. But this does not mean they roast the beans with lard. No way lard will give you buttery taste.
According to some article, rice wine enhances the flavour. But because the beans are so hot out of the roaster, adding rice wine quickly evaporates the alcohol and leaves only the base fermented rice flavour on it.
In other words it is no halal. But the guy could do a 5 minute research like me and come to conclusion. Not blindly say it it not halal because they used these ingredients. Which he FAILED to provide detailed info of. Lazy problem causing mofo as usual.
